Time Out: Happy 8th Birthday!

 

Hello my friends! It has been several months since I have posted on my blog!  Yet I have a very happy occasion to be stopping in to see you. The fabulous Time Out Challenge is celebrating their 8th birthday!  Amazing!  8 years running of bringing you fabulous challenges to inspire your creativity.

Time Out: It's Your Birthday

Hello there!  I hope the spring weather is happening in your part of the world!  It's time for another challenge over at Time Out and this photo is certain to get you inspired for some spring/summer weather.

Our sponsor for this challenge is Kitchen Sink Stamps and I used their gorgeous Hydrangea stamps for my card. I LOVE hydrangeas. I'm not good at growing them, but I love to admire them. I think you can see how I was inspired by the photo below - love the pop of pink in the flowers.

Time Out: Hooray It's Your Day!

Can you believe it? Time Out is celebrating our 7th birthday! Time certainly flies when you are having fun.  It feels like yesterday that Sandie and Nonni started Time Out. I'm so thankful for the inspiration Time Out provides for me and for the fabulous crafting community it supports. So let's celebrate!

I have a drawer of odds and ends for putting cards together and this card was made from those. My card stash is way too low right now...so this one has already gone out the door to celebrate my niece.

Hi there!  I know the blog hasn't been getting a ton of love from me as life working and helping with a school levy for our community has been keeping me extra busy. Happy Sunday

Happy Sunday my friends...we've had a busy weekend running around to a variety of activities but yesterday I had a few hours at my craft table. I was so happy as I can't tell you the last time I've spent more than an hour creating. I had a lot of cards I needed to send for upcoming birthdays, thank yous and a few thinking of you cards for family and friends that could use some extra encouragement. So I quickly was looking for a few challenges to play along with. My first card above I made using the fun inspiration from the Inkspirational Challenge. Love the color palette for their retro challenge. I picked up these sentiments from Taylored Expressions. I love them!

My second card is going to a co-worker who is doing a fabulous job as a thank you for a job well done. This was inspired by the current CAS(E) this Sketch. I made multiples of this one as well as the birthday one. I'm so happy to be creating. Hope you got some time to create this weekend too.

Yay!

Happy Sunday friends! We've had another snowy weekend like much of the US and that meant a weekend at home (no show choir...).  So today was a morning of craftiness and yesterday was a day of binge watching a TV series.  I'm a happy girl when I get to craft!

So here's my first card so share (I'll have a few more this week!).  I recently took the plunge and purchased Copics.  I know I won't get crazy coloring but felt the craving for wanting to color a bit....so this little giraffe is colored and this card will go in the mail to my niece whose birthday comes up in early February.

You can see my loose interpretation of the sketch over at CAS(E) this Sketch.  You all know how much I love leaf stamps so it took everything in me not to make my card very literal to the sketch!

Okay...off to watch playoff football now!
