Merry Christmas my friends!  We have a gorgeous inspiration photo for you for our last Time Out challenge of 2020. I loved all the gorgeous grey and white in the inspiration photo but decided to go with the snowflakes for my inspiration.  We all need thank you notes this time of year so I decided to go that route with my card.

Hello there!  It's time for a new challenge over at Time Out!  Our theme for this challenge is festivals.  It immediately made me think of Thanksgiving in the US...so out came gratitude stamps. Certainly a time to celebrate all we are grateful for!

Happy Sunday my friends...we've had a busy weekend running around to a variety of activities but yesterday I had a few hours at my craft table. I was so happy as I can't tell you the last time I've spent more than an hour creating. I had a lot of cards I needed to send for upcoming birthdays, thank yous and a few thinking of you cards for family and friends that could use some extra encouragement. So I quickly was looking for a few challenges to play along with. My first card above I made using the fun inspiration from the Inkspirational Challenge. Love the color palette for their retro challenge. I picked up these sentiments from Taylored Expressions. I love them!

My second card is going to a co-worker who is doing a fabulous job as a thank you for a job well done. This was inspired by the current CAS(E) this Sketch. I made multiples of this one as well as the birthday one. I'm so happy to be creating. Hope you got some time to create this weekend too.

I'm back for a reminder post for the current challenge over at Time Out!  The challenge is a theme challenge to be use embellishments on your card.  I also love a touch of twine and a few gems here and there so I immediately new what I'd add to the card.

Happy Sunday friends...popping in with a very quick card to share for the current CAS(E) this Sketch challenge.   A little ink masking with Distress Oxides, add a sentiment and we're off!  Love when a card quickly comes together.

Hope your week goes well!  We're working on staying warm here...it is freezing out!  And crossing our fingers that the snow stays away so that the kids can go to their first show choir competition (the first two have been snowed out!).

Wreath Builder (Spring and Winter)

My friend, Joy, sent me an absolutely gorgeous card using the Gina K stamp builder sets and and I knew I had to get them. And thanks to my friend, Sandy, giving me a gift card for Simon Says Stamps I quickly added them to my cart!  I've been itching to play along with them and this weekend I put them to use.  I can tell I'll be using these often!  I made four of each for my stash.

So Very Thankful

Happy Sunday my friends!  Popping in to share a card I made last week when I was at my crafty weekend.  To say I'm grateful for that time away would be a huge understatement.  I love my time away to meet new friends and connect with friends that I have already met. It certainly refreshes my soul to be there.  We laughed together, shared our hearts and created. It was so wonderful. I hope you all are getting in plenty of crafty time too.

Boy oh boy the weeks are just flying by...It's hard to believe that Ryan is done with his sophomore year of college and Jonathon is heading into his senior year of high school. This time next year we'll be getting ready for Jonathon's graduation! 

But enough about that I'm here to share a card for the current Time Out challenge.  Our challenge is to be inspired by the following words:

As you can see I keyed off the floral words and this thank you went to a dear friend who volunteers a lot for show choir.  The frame was pre-printed from Taylored Expressions and the stamps and sentiment are from our sponsor, Stamplorations - Frames and Florals - you all know how much I love a floral set and this one is no exception - so many awesome stamps to mix and match.

My card today features the Verve set:  Holiday Treats.  I made multiples of this card and included them in the card sets I made for family and friends. I have always loved this set and it has gotten lots of use over the years!

Happy New Year's week!  It's time for a new challenge over at Time Out!  We're only challenge #100 - isn't that amazing!  I love being on this design team and we're back with the perfect challenge for you.  We challenge you to be Thankful and ours sponsor is  Verve with the winner getting a stamp set of their choice. You all know how much I love Verve and Julee's amazing designs and sentiments so I had to play along for the challenge both this week and next with the reminder post.  

My card today features two Verve sets:  Scripture Medley 5 and Borderline.  We won't talk about how many times I stamped the sentiment and embossed it before I was happy with the end result. My white ink was a bit too juicy for stamping the smaller worlds. So I switched over to Versamark and white embossing powder.  To finish off the card I die cut the sentiment, stamped the heart border three different times and then adhered both panels to the base.  Love the neutral color palette.

Thank You So Much

In addition to the sympathy card I shared yesterday, I also made several of these thank you cards.  During the Black Friday sale, I picked up a few new goodies from Lil Inkers and from Concord & 9th. I was anxious to get the Concord & 9th stamps inked up!  Love this branches set - so many different cards you can make with this!  For my first card using it, I played along with the CAS(E) this Sketch.  Love using these non-traditional colors!
