Heartfelt Thanks {and Thanksgiving Day photos}

Are you tired of seeing those fabulous Verve Loopy Flowers yet?  I love them...and have quite a few pre-cut so you'll probably see more of them soon.  My stash of birthday and thank you cards are done to only a couple and last week I was in need of two thank you cards for a client.  I loved the sketch layout of Vicki's MUSE card this week so I was quickly inspired to combine PaperSmooches and Simon Says Stamps sentiments for this card. Love the end result of a very bright and cheery card.

I mentioned earlier that we had a house full of 36 for Thanksgiving. The only person missing for Thanksgiving was my mum who was in Florida with her brothers and sister-in-laws. Lucky her!  We had a fabulous time celebrating with both sides of our families and a few long time family friends.  We had four tables set up throughout our first floor to make sure everyone had a seat and the food was absolutely amazing.  Here are a few layouts from Thanksgiving Day.

These three (Ryan and his two cousins, Madeleine and Elizabeth) always crack me up. They are very close and he was so thankful they were both home from college to hang out. Unintentionally they were all wearing black so they needed to pose for "pre-Black Friday" pictures. Later that night they did hit the Black Friday sales and got some great deals at the local outlet mall.

Then I asked the three of them to take pictures with my camera.  Elizabeth can take credit for most of these pictures...laying on the ground to take several of them!

And this is a typical get together with all the cousins...the whole gang wrestling, the girls planning a dance routine and lots of great time catching up.

At the end of the night, I busted Collin in the kitchen hitting the whip cream (after all the desserts were put away thankfully.)  Marcel couldn't quite figure out how to use the whip cream...so of course, Collin had to show him the ropes.

We certainly are blessed that our families get along so well together!

From your photos, your family will treasure these memories for years to come! Looks like everyone had a great time. The whipped cream photos cracked me up...something my boys did too (and probably still do when no one's looking!) And nope, not tired of the pretty loopy flowers. You work magic with this set, so keep 'em coming! Great card. Bev
