Happy Birthday!

Good morning!  It's time for another My Time Made Easy Pretty Palette Challenge!  I have to admit when I looked at these colors I thought...yuck!  But then...I stared at them.  Really stared at them. And then I reminded myself, you don't have to go with the bright tones, go with the softer tones.  I love pinks and greens and kraft...yummo.  Just needed to add a bit of yellow.  And I found the perfect paper in my stash.

And then...my Cricut kicked in with this gorgeous MTME Pucker Up template for a larger pillow box!  How sweet is that?  Now I need to decide what to put inside and who should receive it!  Any ideas for fun things to fill it with?  Have you used your Cricut to make any of the MTME templates?  I'd love to hear about what you are creating. The birthday sentiment is from Sentimental Occasions...and I've wrapped it all up with a simple bow.
Be sure to also pop in and see all the designs of the other design team members.

Lynn I love this! You have to tell me how this works with the Cricuit.

So happy for Ryan...I love to watch the show choir perform and wish my kids were musically inclined :)

oh, those colours are FABULOUS!!! You have used them perfectly!! They really pop off the kraft and cream/white...love the repeated image and bow :) I have not used any of these templates, but think I will have to once the Cricut is set up!! May have to fly you out here for a brush up course! ;) I think you should fill it with licorice all sorts!! My poison of candy lately ;)

Lynn

You have yet again given me inspiration as I was looking at a few colour challenges this week and was so stuck but was trying to get the shade as near as possible to the palette-so now I know a new approach-great use of the colours and an adorable idea-yes it cries out to be filled with sweets-those kiss sweets you get over there-can't remember the name x

Thank you for the insight on how to handle color challenges that would normally turn us away. This box turned out beautiful! Great soft palette and I really like how you've finished it up.

Now that's a colour challenge I'd normally shy away from but you've just given me the lightbulb moment by playing with the tones of 'em!!! This is one fab, sweet, box and a perfect balancing of those gorgeous colours (I love this kinda tone of 'em!)
Hugs,
Aimes

Such a yummy patterned paper Lynn and an adorable gift box too. The toned down colours look so pretty together. I have never tried any other cutting on my cricut, only the cartridge contents! :)

Your pillow box is so pretty, not only the papers you used, but the shape of it.

I agree the colours look quite daunting when you see them like this. Such a pretty paper. I would never have thought to use the colours like this. The bow and tag are a perfect finishing touch.

Unfortunally I don't have a Cricut. For this shape I use a selfmade template and cut it with a hobby knife (-;
I love your pillow box. Such nice color combination.
Maybe you can put in a gift coupon with some confetti (-;
Have a nice day!
Greetings,
Judith
