Happily Ever After..

One of my good friends, Jackie, got married this past weekend.  She lost her husband, Joe, a little over five years ago to lung cancer.  And I'm so thrilled that she has found love again.  She and Gary got married surrounded by their children on Saturday.  I'm wishing them a lifetime of happiness.  Isn't love wonderful?  I'm sure Joe is smiling down on her from heaven with his laugh that could fill a room.
My card colors were inspired by this week's Play Date Cafe Challenge.

This has such a pretty softness to it, especially the watermark look of the flowers in the background. Just beautiful!

sounds like it was a lovely day of love at that wedding...I love that they were surrounded by their children :) What an elegant and gorgeous card!! And you had some more of that paper! I'm sure it's gone now :) Hope you're having a good trip...and I bet you'll have a blast with the girls on Thursday. You need to figure out how to get BC on your trip itinerary!! I'm sure we have some kind of office here you could "visit." ;)

Stunning. The purple is a wonderful color for a silhouette and the background really softens everything up.
