With Sympathy

Happy Saturday. I woke up super early this morning and have been catching up on fun things like paying bills, reconciling payments for my volunteer treasurer role for my kids show choir and perusing blogs!  And now it's time to pop in and share a card with you.  Just Us Girls has an Anything Goes challenge which is perfect to share this card I made last week. Love that gorgeous font on this Lil Inker set.  I am sending out two sympathy cards today to friends who have lost a loved one.  I also seem to need to send out so many this time of year.

On to a much lighter subject, Ryan's band performed at a local bar down by the University of Cincinnati last night. I rarely get to see him perform live since he is off at school, but it was absolutely awesome!  Here's a quick (and very poor shot of him on stage). Love him and am oh so proud.  Tonight we'll have performances by Collin and Marcel as show choir season kicks off today.  In my mind, a perfect weekend of watching my kids do what they love!

Believe

Happy Sunday!  Welcome to this week's My Time Made Easy Pretty Palette Challenge.  We have a traditional Christmas palette for you today!  If you've finished up your cards, you can take on the challenge with a tag or a holiday decor item!  We'd love to see what you create. No surprise that I decided on another CAS layout! I had a lot of fun using the digital stamps from Secret Santa.  They were very easy to design with!  I love the little images that go with the wonderful sentiments.  Added a couple of gems (and if you look closely you can see I embossed the white layer) and were were ready to roll...
Please me sure to check out the other design team members gorgeous creations!

Anyways, onto today's card! The sweet little snowflake is from the versatile Frost Bitten die cut file.  I love that this one comes with three different images...great for a lot of different uses.   And the fun  striped paper is from Candy Claus.

My Time Made Easy Pretty Palette Challenge

Happy Sunday.  Welcome to this week's My Time Made Easy Pretty Palette Challenge.  Hmm...when I first looked at this color combo...I thought...yellow...hmmm...don't use a lot of yellow. But then I popped over to the MTME store and did a quick little shop.  The Farmhouse Fresh Paper is perfect.  Just a suttle touch of yellow and I adore gingham.  So off I went using my new paper and the Frost Bitten cut file.  And...tada...another Christmas card added to my stash!  Very soon, these will all be going in the mail!

Please me sure to check out the other design team members gorgeous creations!

My Time Made Easy Pretty Palette Challenge

Happy Sunday!  Welcome to this week's My Time Made Easy Pretty Palette Challenge.  I love greens...and kraft...so it was quite easy to visualize a card for this weeks color palette.  I used one of my favorite MTME papers, Dainty Damasks.  The damask papers come in so many lovely colors.  This card was made for friends of ours who celebrated their 35th wedding anniversary a few weeks ago. Their youngest daughter was married on their anniversary.  So special and such a beautiful wedding!

My Time Made Easy Pretty Palette Challenge

Happy Sunday...welcome to another My Time Made Easy Pretty Palette Challenge. This week's color palette shows off the gorgeous fall colors that are outside on the trees.  Hopefully you're still enjoying them in your neck of the woods.  I loved using the digital images from Happy Hallows to show the falling leaves.  This is one of my favorite MTME cards!

My Time Made Easy Pretty Palette Challenge

Happy Sunday...welcome to another My Time Made Easy Pretty Palette Challenge. This week's color palette definitely said Christmas to me!  I'm setting a goal to get my Christmas cards done by Thanksgiving this year so that I can spent the few weeks before Christmas working on other Christmas gifts!  So...this takes me one step closer to that goal.  This week's design was very CAS (yes...shocking I know...just kidding).  I love the elements in the two sets I used this week:  Made of Snow and Beautiful Baubles.

My Time Made Easy Pretty Palette Challenge

Happy Sunday...welcome to another My Time Made Easy Pretty Palette Challenge.  Isn't this color combination stunning?  I love pink and green...and chocolate...oh my...sung to my heart!  I could make a lot of different cards with this gorgeous color combo. For my card today, I used the gorgeous flowers from Be Dazzled.

My Time Made Easy Pretty Palette Challenge

Happy Sunday...welcome to another My Time Made Easy Pretty Palette Challenge.  I loved the color palette for this week's challenge so I decided to make two cards with the fun MTME Chocolate Halloween paper.  For the first card, I used a little mist and punched out a few hearts for a little valentine.
The second card is another CAS card...added lots of ribbon and a sentiment for an easy birthday card.
Be sure to also pop in and see all the designs of the other design team members.

In My Prayers

Happy Sunday...welcome to this week's My Time Made Easy Pretty Palette Challenge.  This week's card called for a halloween card, but I decided to go with something a bit non-traditional.  My sister-in-laws mum had surgery for a detached retina this week and I wanted to make a card for her to let her know I was praying for a very successful surgery.  She has struggle with her eyes for many years and we're all hoping that she heals quickly.   I used the MTME Trendy Forest papers along with the Sentimental Occasions stamps.  The colors weren't quite this bright in person...but it is a nice easy CAS card!  I hope you can join us this week!

Happy Holidays!

Happy Sunday...the Christmas card creation continues here at my house!  This week I'm using a non-typical color palette for a Christmas card from me.  I love the MTME Beautiful Bobbles set.  It's very versatile for creating a variety of Christmas cards.  Add a little bling and this card was ready to go!

My Time Made Easy Pretty Palette Challenge

Good morning and welcome to another My Time Made Easy Pretty Palette Challenge.  I loved the cheery color palette this week and quickly got to work using my Cricut again.  The template is one of the new releases for this month over at My Time Made Easy, Topped Off.  It is extremely versatile.  Four different tops to choose from:  the flower (shown below), a graduation cap, a snowman and a star.  Loved it!
Here is another view showing just the top...added score lines for a bit of dimension.

And one more of a side view!

Merry Christmas!

Hi there!  Welcome again to our My Time Made Easy Pretty Palette Challenge.  Don't this week's colors inspire you to create a Christmas card?  I love grid patterns...and the Puckered Paper set is perfect for a grid.  The sentiment is from the Secret Santa set.  I finished off the grid with some gems...yummy and a big bow.  To add a bit of texture I also embossed the white panel (before putting on the gems :)!)  Not sure if you can see that or not!  Hope you like it!  And...I'd love to hear how you create your Christmas cards?  One design for everyone, photo cards, what do you prefer to send to friends and family?

You Inspire Me

Good morning and welcome to this week's My Time Made Easy Pretty Palette Challenge.  I am in love with this new MTME Trendy Forest paper!  Such a crisp clean look.    The sentiment is from the Sensational Digital Set.  Such a versatile set with a variety of sentiments.  I am in love with the clear gems too...I've been adding them to quite a few cards lately...and of course, who doesn't love a bow? :)  Hope you have time to play along with us this week.

Happy Birthday!

Good morning!  It's time for another My Time Made Easy Pretty Palette Challenge!  I have to admit when I looked at these colors I thought...yuck!  But then...I stared at them.  Really stared at them. And then I reminded myself, you don't have to go with the bright tones, go with the softer tones.  I love pinks and greens and kraft...yummo.  Just needed to add a bit of yellow.  And I found the perfect paper in my stash.

And then...my Cricut kicked in with this gorgeous MTME Pucker Up template for a larger pillow box!  How sweet is that?  Now I need to decide what to put inside and who should receive it!  Any ideas for fun things to fill it with?  Have you used your Cricut to make any of the MTME templates?  I'd love to hear about what you are creating. The birthday sentiment is from Sentimental Occasions...and I've wrapped it all up with a simple bow.

My Time Made Easy Pretty Palette Challenge

This week in honor of September 11th, the My Time Made Easy Pretty Palette Challenge has a patriotic theme.  We remember all those who lost their lives on 9/11 and continue to pray for their family and friends that were left behind.  It is so hard to believe that it has been ten years since that tragic day.

For today's challenge, I used the free (yes I said free!) MTME Cutesy Cover.  It is super, super easy and very versatile.  You could use it for all kinds of sweet treats!  The patterned paper is from the MTME School Plaid paper.  I am going to be using this template for lots of treats!
