Today is my beautiful cousin, Sandie's, birthday! I'm stopping by to wish her a day in which she is spoiled rotten by her wonderful husband, Callum. Be sure to pop on over to Sandie's blog to wish her a very happy birthday!
This card was sent to her with lots of love and a few extra bits. A few of us are going together to send Sandie mini card kits as her birthday present. It's always nice to have extras to create so we thought it would be a great way to celebrate Sandie! I also sent her some new purple inks from Catherine Pooler as Sandie loves all things purple and a touch of grunge too!
So my dearest Sandie...I love you dearly. So thankful that we are cousins, but even more thankful that we are wonderful friends. Hope this is the happiest of days for you! I'll be toasting you from across the pond. xx

What a lovely birthday card for such a lovely lady! In the card making world, whenever I think of purple, I think of Sandie! I'm sure she loved this card and it's easy to see why. Aaaaa so you are the mystery person behind the purple inks! :) Sandie asked me a couple of weeks ago if I had ordered some inks to her place (I'm going over in June so I have ordered some stuff to her house to collect it then) but no I hadn't... When she opened the package and noticed all the inks were purple we were sure it was a pressies but just didn't know from who! :) What a fun surprise! Love your card to Sandie. Such soft colors and I love the yellow "paint strokes" behind the flowers. Very pretty card!

I love you dearly too and am blessed we are both cousins and friends. You I sorted me to take up this amazing hobby and how it had changed my life! This card is proudly displayed, I especially love the soft yellow with the purple...purple and yellow are my fav colour combo for cards but I guess you remembered that! Love you xx
