Happy Birthday
I loved the funky feel of the current CAS(e) this Sketch...but I went ultra simple! I had these flowers on a tag that I had never used so I pulled them off to quickly make this card. I keep a Ziplock baggie of extra die cuts on my craft table that I like to get into when I want to try and make something quickly. So...this card came together very quickly with a touch of stamping.
Do you pre-cut lots of die cuts or do anything to make sure crafting go a little faster on occasion?
In other news, Jonathon has been researching how to build computers. He just bought his first kit yesterday. I am so excited for him. He's been quietly watching YouTube videos to figure it out. I'll keep you posted on how it goes!

Your card is like a breath of spring...something about yellow, love that happy color! I never pre-plan cards, I should because then maybe my room wouldn't be so messy {LOL, probably wouldn't help}.
Love it when kids are inquisitive...how exciting for Jonathon!
I like it simple, works for me! Good luck to Jonathon x
So pretty, Lynn!!!
I don't think the drawers of scraps I can't part with that have zero organisation count as pre cut dies, do you? Love the yellow.
Wow, wow, wow! Love the yellow on yellow and the pops of white. Definitely going into my CASing file! I have a little container of die cuts too!
Really pretty Lynn, the yellow makes me think spring--we need that so badly now.I love cards that come together quickly, but your design is fantastic too!
Love that yellow and the happy flowers with it :) Darling card. You go Jonathan!!!
Love that bright and zingy card base Lynn and those flowers are great.
Yes I keep loads of die cuts but then forget to use them. When I do find them I think... What on earth did I keep these for!!!! Lol! X
Oh, this is so bright and cheery, Lynn! I love your fabulous take on the sketch!
This is so striking with the yellow base. Like a burst of sunshine on a wintery day, where it is even gloomy here in San Diego. I don't usually cut extras on purpose, but I end up with lots of extra dies anyway--they go into a little container, and I must confess that most of them never come back out.
this is just a sunshine delight! I love the flowers against the yellow! I don't pre cut a lot of things, but I have LOADS of extra die cuts I have cut but didn't' use…I weed through them a couple of times a year :) It's so exciting to use them up! I think I've got a new challenge for myself! ox
This super cas is great for this challenge! Love the yellow; brings som sun into the day... Hugs, Gerrina
Sadly, Lynn, I've nothing this darling in my little stash of die cuts as it usually contains things that somehow did NOT work out =[ This darling card brought just that little bit of sunshine I needed to my rather cloudy, snowy, day... I'll be waiting for a Jonathon update ...

I'm loving coloured card bases at the moment and you've rocked two in a row! The polka dots down the side are the perfect accent for your sweet flowers. Totally CASEing this! I keep extra die cuts for a while but I never corral them very well and end up chucking them when I'm on a cleaning bender. Such a waste really… And go, Jonathon! So cool that's he's taking such a project on just because. You're kids are so awesome. :)
What a breath of fresh air, this bright, happy and cute card is!!! Love it so much and I have been looking at all the entries in the CAS(E) this Sketch gallery link-up and this one literally took my breath away!!! Way to go - it is awesome!!!
Simple, sunny and so delicious, Lynn ... gorgeous! Me too, I have a little container of cut-but-unused-as-yet die cuts ... mostly they stay unused! Anita :)
Your floral cards are a pure delight :)
