This past Saturday I had a ton of time to craft. It was a very rainy Saturday and was the perfect day to spend several hours in my craft room. I haven't spent more than an hour in there in a really long time...so three hours of crafty time meant I created lots of cards. This time of year quickly becomes very busy with show choir, basketball and wrestling so extended crafting time won't happen for a while, but rather will be tucked in in 30 to 60 minute increments!
I've been itching to play with this set from Verve. The Curtain Call Challenge and Darnell's Never Been Used Challenge were the perfect challenges to enter this card. Love the neutral tone on tone feel of this card. I've also created a little challenge for myself. I send a lot of Christmas cards so I've decided to set a goal to make about 15 each month. I've made 5 so far in January...we'll see if I can keep up with this challenge for myself and not have a mad dash at the end of the year!

I should probably take your lead and start making Christmas cards. I almost exhausted my entire stash this past Christmas. I also plan to start addressing envelopes sometime around July this year, lol! Great card, Lynn! I love the colours and the simplicity. :-)

This is a great CAS design Lyn! I've also made a start on my Christmas cards, I usually get them made well in advance of Christmas and then become complacecent, and think, 'Oh, it's OK, I've got mine all done' . . . and then rush to actually write them all and send them out . . . late!! I will try to better this year. Hazel xx

Your card uses the inspiration photo colours and textures so well, way to go! My goal for January is to make 0 Christmas cards, how's that for ya? I should automate my mailing list, that's my 2015 goal, and not in December.
