Hello friends...it's Friday...first full week at work in a long time and it's time to celebrate that it is Friday! I'm back with two cards for the One Layer Simplicity Challenge. I love the current challenge...stock up. I've made two cards for the challenge. The first is a birthday card inspired by this awesome card from Maureen Merritt. I love Maureen's style.
The second is a card for Pat's cousin, Ryan, who has decided to enter the priesthood. He is an amazing young man. We're so pleased for him.
I hope you had a great start to your weekend!

Perfect cards-lots of white space-happy dance xx
Great one layer cards, Lynn! Love how you were inspired by Maureen! Love her style too. :)
These are awesome - perfect examples of not needing anything more than cardstock and ink! Thanks for joining us at OLS!
Both cards are CAS perfection, Lynn!
oh how I love your one layer wonderful cards! I study them closely...I know it's all in the layout, but it looks like magic the way they look more layered! Oh, congrats to Pat's cousin! How cool to have a priest in the family! Happy Friday! ox
Stock up is a perfect theme! Both are super! Love the rainbow letters on the first, Lynn!
Oh to be able to make a OLC and have it look as good as yours. Love the textured stripe adn the multi-coloured sentiment and that Verve cross is stunning in it's simplicity on the second card. Fabulous times two :) Have a great w/e!
Two faabulous one layer cards. I especially like the way you have inked the sentiment on the first card.
love the rainbow sentiment!
Your wonderfully stamped one layer cards make me want to break out what few stamps I have and join in.
Beautiful one layer cards Lynn...especially like the blended colors on the sentiment. Cute idea.
Both cards are quite fabulous. The first one is full of lovely color and wonderful white space. The enamel dots finish it off perfectly. Your second card is perfect for someone about to enter the seminary. That cross is the most lovely one I've seen. Love them both! Bev
I love that you use stamps that I have and neglect (what was that New Year's challenge we gave ourselves?)/ Love this!
The colors on your "my friend" are so perfect! Way to work in a ton of interest in such a small space. Love both cards, Lynn!
One-layered wonders here I see! Diggin' the cool accents and ombre sentiment on the first card! So cool! :)
These are both awesome! Love the multicolored sentiment on the first card and the second is so clean and perfect for the occasion!
Lynn, both cards are absolutely perfect! Love, love, love the enamel dots on the first, and the color combo, and the layout! The second is so meaningful and perfect for a man...blessings on Ryan as he dedicates his life to service in the name of God!
Thanks for sharing these with the One-Layer Simplicity Challenge!
These are awesome, Lynn! Love how you inked up the sentiment on the first.
