Happy Sunday...I'm popping in with two quick cards for this week's ColourQ Challenge. I got a new set with borders from WPlus9...so I thought I'd play along and use my new stamps.
First up...a gradient ink pattern using stripes...the ink wasn't applying just right, but I am okay with the grainy feel. Question for you: do you prep your stamps? I never do...wondering if it helps?
Well...I have to run now...running a bit late and need to start getting ready for the day...Ryan has a baseball double header! Hope you a relaxing Sunday!

Your invisible cards are lovely but would love to see them up close and personal ;)
Lynn, the cards aren't showing up!
Oh good. It's a relief to know it's not just my computer!
I can't see them either :( I am bummed because Lynn's cards are the best! Hope to see it soon, Lynn! Have a fab weekend! *hugs*
Love the stripes! I have tried rubbing my stamps with an eraser. Sometimes it helps, not always.
Great cards, Lynn! I never prep my stamps. Sometimes if I am having an issue with an image holding ink, I will stamp the image in Versamark first. I do not have to do this very often.
I couldn't see them at first - but when I went in much latrer they were there!! I think they are both great.
Both of you cards are so much fun, I love the stripes. The sentiments on both cards are fantastic. I have prepped and not prepped but when it really matters I find either a couple test runs on scrap or using VersaMark before ink helps. Thank you so much for joining us this week at the colourQ!
Both adorable cards! The stripes look great and so does the plaid! So fun!!
Love both cards Lynn, and yes I always run a rubber/eraser over my clear stamps ... Ange
Now I can see them! I can't believe you did that plaid so well without a Stampamajig! I didn't use one of those for the first ten years I stamped and now I can't stamp without it. It does make life much easier!
I don't prep. The one time I did, I blemished the finish, so that was a bummer. Sometimes it's a pressure thing and I've had to use trial and error to apply the right pressure in the right place.
Love, love, LOVE what you've done with those border stamps, girl! So deliciously CAS!
Aaaaahhhhhm, there they are :) Brilliant use of the colours and CAS designs!
Beautiful cards, Lynn, love those stripes! So happy you joined us this week at the colourQ.
LOVE how you were able to use all of those colors to make your two cards! The stripes and the pattern are very striking! Glad I was able to see them!
I can't believe you think that's not straight...it looks super straight to me! And how cool that you made your own plaid!
Oh how I'm diggin' the stripes, Lynn! Stamped to perfection IMHO!
Hugs!

Sometimes perfection hinders a design, and in your case I really like the way these are stamped. Sure does bring texture and a bit of movement to an otherwise static design. Great play in colors! I just pulled out a finished piece of the recipe you gave me the other day, can't wait to try it after it cools off.
Great cards! Love them both! Thanks for joining us at the CQC!!
I've really missed a whole week of your blog?? What on earth have I been up to? Love how you've used these lines... makes me think I gotta go relook in my stash.
