CAS-ual Fridays: Embossing Challenge

Happy, happy Friday!  After a short work week, I'm looking forward to the weekend.  No better way to start it off than to play along with the CAS-ual Fridays Challenge!  Our challenge this week is sponsored by the fabulous Simon Says Stamps.  If you haven't been shopping over there...be sure to go have a look.  Lots of awesome stamping/crafting goodies!

Now...onto the challenge for this week!  Embossing...dry or heat embossing whatever you prefer.  I love my woodgrain embossing folder so I put it to use for a sympathy card.  My leaves were die cut and ink with a few different colors of distress inks.  I love how they blend together for the fall colors.
Happy Friday!  Pop on over to CAS-ual Fridays to check out all the inspiration from the design team and to play along with us!

Oh, Lynn, this is one of the prettiest cards you've made! Did I say that to you recently? I think I did, but it's true again! Love your gorgeous shading on those leaves!

Hi Lynn, I just love how you've inked those leaves....beautiful colours. I think autumn has to be my favourite time of the year, but ask me again in the spring and I'll probably tell you different!!! :0)

great blending of the inks and the wood grain embossing is great and has reminded me that I haven't used mine for a while-I guess this challenge is a perfect reason to dust it off!

Dear Lynn,
I am ashamed because of my absence lately here on your blog. It seems I have neglected you and your blog. I Hope you don’t think/feel the same.

I had the pleasure to see so many wonderful created cards and I think you are a very talented card maker!!!

Also I enjoy the pics and stories about you and your lovely family. You can be very proud of your boys!!!

Hope you are all well and the boys enjoy their school days? (giggle)

Our summer Holidays have ended last week, and the boys had to go to school again too. All activities are going to start again these days. Confirmation classes in our church, soccer, basketball, dance and theater lessons...

We aren't getting bored, as you can imagine (and I am sure you can)

Thank you so much for your, always, nice comments on my blog! It feels good to have you as a blog-friend (-:

Have a nice weekend!

Judith
