Good morning everyone! Happy Wednesday. I almost completely missed this month's PaperTrey Ink Blog Hop. I saw the reminder come up yesterday in Google Reader and decided to make a quick card last night. My birthday stash is running low so you'll be seeing a few more birthday cards here and there.
This month's blog hop encourages us to be inspired by a card we made in 2011. I used the layout from this card that I made in early November. Rather than having the sentiment go straight across I like to try and make it go vertical. Love the small font. And of course, I went with one of my all time favorite PTI sets, Damask Designs. It is stamped in the yummy Hero Arts Chalk Ink.
Hope you all got a chance to play along with the blog hop too!

BOTH cards are wonderful!
Great design Lynn - one bright and fun, the other elegant - both lovely :)
What a beautiful "re-take" Lynn! Love the damask print and the pop of green with the pretty bow! I love the look of the vertical sentiment and never think to do it.
Ooh, a vertical sentiment, that is something new to try for me. Both cards are wonderful, and really showcase your versatility in color and feel of cards.
Both are fantastic - love how you broke it up with the ribbon.
Love vertical sentiments and both cards are so devine!
Love how the vertical sentiment draws your eye up the card. These are both super yummy!
I remember when you posted the older card that I loved the bright colors. The new one is great too! Your spacing is just perfect.
Thanks for the reminder on the hop - for some reason I thought the 25th was tomorrow. I'm hoping to join in.
gorgeousness!!
oh, yummy!! I loved the original, but the new one with kraft damask and that gorgeous green bow...stunning! Yes, you need to come see my view :) It feels like we are on top of the world :) That's how we feel everyday :)
Both of these cards are stunning. Such beautiful colours and so different from one another.
Really yummy colors! Love that pistachio colored ribbon!
Beautiful cards! Great colors and so elegant.
I was immediately drawn by the colour of the ribbon-gorgoeus-this is the colour I want my bedroon walls! The PTI stamp is stunning and your stamping is just sooo good x
Gorgeous cards! I love them both!
Lynn, both cards are gorgeous! :)
Two beautiful cards. The first is dainty *& so feminine; the second modern & classy. Love the sentiment running down the side.
That Damask card is one gorgeous creation Lynn!!! Love the subtle colors you chose. The sentiment placement is perfect.
WOW. You know its great stamping when I look and think its patterned paper! So beautiful and elegant! Love the original too!
Fabulous, fabulous, love the bit of bling.
Both are just so pretty Lynn. Love the single red bloom on the second!
Lynn, I love the first version of this card, but WOW, your CASE of yourself is stunning! LOVE the muted tones, pastel ribbon, and tiny sentiment along the edge!
Beautiful cards. Your layout of stamped images is masterful.
I love this neutral CASE of your original card Lynn, they couldn't be further apart on the colour palette but both are so wonderful... I know how you love your damask patterns :)

Lynn, I don't usually make my sentiments go vertical, but after seeing your cards, I want to give it a shot, these are both stunners!
I love both cards, but I especially love the colour scheme and cool tones of the new one. And what a great idea to stamp your sentiment on the vertical! It's perfect!
really pretty. love the unique color scheme!
Now that's what I was looking for! A way to make a partial background with a stamp...I just don't think outside the box like this! So very pretty. Love both your cards:)
Fabulous design and both cards are gorgeous.
Love this idea of the sentiment going vertical , why couldn't I think of that. Both cards are gorgeous the first one would be very hard to improve on! Love them both.
Lovely design and colors for your new card.
An awesome layout to use for sure. Your damask card is SO elegant! Love how your second card is so cheery with the different patterns and colors. BOTH cards have such great style!
Both cards are really great. I like the layout and the idea of a vertical sentiment.
I love how soft and sophisticated your revamp turned out. I never think to stamp my sentiments vertically, but I love the way it looks here. I may have to try that soon myself. Thank you for sharing!
both cards are elegant and beautiful. love the soft color and bow of the first one, and the modern feel of the second card.
Very elegant cards. The sand ink looks yummy but I love the oranges and red inks. Gr8 spacing in your stamping.
I love your original card but those damasks are so perfect they look like patterned paper. The mint ribbon finishes it perfectly. Wow!
I love the subtle elegance of the first one, and the bold, bright colors of the second one-both are brilliant projects! TFS :-)
I love the clean and simple look, very nice!
