Happy Friday everyone! I am absolutely loving the Clean & Simple Card Making class. Yesterday's class was about using a single stamp multiple ways. It definitely helps stretch your stamps. I purchased the PTI Tree Toppers set last month and I think I've only inked it up once. So...I decided to use the circles from one of the tree tops. This first card shows using the stamp in a very traditional way as the tree leaves. I pulled out the linen impression plate again and inked up the edges for a little more depth. In real life the tree colors are a bit darker than the photo shows.
I then used the same stamp as a background. I paired it up with two other PTI sets. I think this card will go to my niece, Madeleine, who turns 19 (how did that happen?!) tomorrow.
Finally, I used the stamp again as a background but tried to create stripes. The sentiment is from Verve.
Like I said earlier, I am really enjoying this class! Look for more samples to come! And...I'd love to hear which one you like best and why :)!
Happy Friday!

You are rocking this class Lynn - more fantastic cards today. You make me wish I was taking this class too. My favourite is the first one... I like the subtly and softness of it :)
All 3 are great but really like the CAS look of the 1st card!
I am loving all your cards from this class! I love the first card, so simple yet elegant. :)
yep same for me-I like the first one best because it is so clean and simple and again becuse of that gorgeous imporession plate again!
I can hardly believe it is the sme stamp-so clever x
You are so clever, Lynn! Love all three ways you used this stamp set! I'm still playing catch-up and need to get going on this one! Thanks for the inspiration! :)
What a fab set of CAS cards, Lynn. I think the third one is my favorite! Love the colors you used. :)
I Like them all - but I think the third one is my favorite - all the different colors of the stamp, the different colored ribbons and the beautiful bow. Madeleine will love it.
I love this clean & simple stuff!!! I love that you used the circle stamp 3 different & unique ways. Thanks so much for sharing. I'm saving your posts to give me some inspiration for using my stamps in a clean & simple way. Sometimes I try to get too complicated!
though I love the inking on the first one and the double stamping on the second, that 3rd one with the strips of colour and that fabulous ribbon really jumps at me :) You are getting an A+ for sure in this class!! ;) Release Party tonight...9 pm your time (and my time if I was visiting ;) lol We have skating today!! Good way to make the day go quickly :)
You know that impression plate is high on my wish list, thanks for helping tip me over the edge....

Oh, Lynn, the cards are so stunning! The last one is my favorite
Have a nice evening,
greetings Judith
love the three ways you used the stamp. all three cards are gorgeous.
Yummy cards! Such a clever use of one single stamp, I need to try this much more, make my dollars worth it for all the money we spend on this hobby, hah? I'm still drooling over your yellow card below, *sigh*.
Wow! Such mileage out of one stamp! I love it! I really like all three, but I especially like the third one because it is just so unique. I love the tiers of color and the cardstock strips. I also like the color combo you chose. Way to go!
Ooh, you've gone and done it. You've officially made me want to kick myself in the you know what for not signing up for this class. Your cards are amazing, especially that first. Subtle beauty.
LOVE the different takes on the same stamp! I like the sweet and simple first one the best:)
You're really making me regret not signing up for this class... Love these gorgeous cards - those dreamy inked edges, how fabulously this stamp works with the Grunge set, and those gorgeous stripes. Awesome! Hope you're staying warm out there!
Wonderful cards, Lynn! I am partial to the first one, I like the texture and the way you used the circles as the tree branches. Thanks for the package! I'll let you know when it arrives. OBTW, how would I find you on the PTI boards? I just made an account there, and I'm looking for my friends! :)
All beautiful submissions Lynn! My goodness - I love the way you used the tree toppers on the second and third card! How creative!
Great cards and ways to show off that bubbly stamp on three very different cards. I love them all!
All three cards are very nice, my favorite is the last one. I like fun and colorful!
Catching up today on blogs.
