Just Us Girls Technique Challenge

Good morning, today is my turn to host us over on Just Us Girls challenge.  It's the week of the month where we try a new technique.  I looked through the fabulous tutorials over on Split Coast Stampers and thought we'd give collage stamping a try. Click here for the link to the tutorial.  I kept my collage a bit simpler than the tutorial.  This card will be going to a co-worker celebrating their five year anniversary this week.  The stamps are from several different sets; some PaperTrey Ink and others Hero Arts.  I love when I can mix and match my stamps and stretch them a bit further.  To soften up the image a bit I inked the edges up a bit.  What do you think?  What type of collage would you like to try?  I'd love to see your take on this technique.
Please stop by and check out the gorgeous creations from the other design team members!

When I think of this technique, I think of you because each of your cards you've done with it are so beautiful. This one is a beauty too.

This is one of those techniques that scares me. I've tried it and am so bad at it. You make it look easy, Lynn - this is beautiful - so soft looking! I may have to go check out the tutorials - thanks for the link! Happy weekend to you! :)

Over the top gorgeous on this one!! I love mixing sets like that too although you are teaching me more ways!! Lovely softness to it :) ACK!! You got the shamrocks!! Anything else? My calves are a little sore from skating (well, shuffling really) but I think they just need to be warmed up today at the gym and with all the running around I need to do :) One more cup of coffee, though ;) oh, I would love a long weekend!! We don't get any for our politicians! Guess they didn't do anything but tick us off!! LOL

LOVE your stamping on this beauty, Lynn! Such a great use of the Iconic Images, and the sponging around the edges gives it a soft, vintage look. Great idea for a technique to showcase this week!
