Just Us Girls Technique Challenge

Happy Saturday...it's time for another challenge at Just Us Girls.  This week Lisa has a technique challenge for us.  The technique we're using is called ghosting, click here for a tutorial.    For my card, I stamped the star background in Versamark and let it dry (I had to be patient...as I never seem to let things dry long enough and end up with inky finger prints everywhere!)  So...after it dried, I inked it up with two different Ranger Distress Inks.  Once that dries, I stamped the main sentiment.  I thought the scrolls in the sentiment matched the My Mind's Eye paper perfectly. And of course, I finished it off with my all time favorite Cherry Cobbler ribbon!

So what do you think?  We'd love for you to play along...please stop by and check out the gorgeous creations from the other design team members!

Patience was never my strong point either, Lynn! I've even resorted to putting my projects in the fridge to speed up the drying process LOL!!!
LOVE the ghosting technique on this beauty! Such a lovely colour combo too (diggin' that ribbon!)
Hugs!

WOW, Lynn! THIS turned out exquisitely! It's SO worth the "drying time" effort - for certain! Love the play of shapes, script and composition - for a busy, busy, on the go kind of gal - you SURE know how to "get er done!" Yee Haw! Love it, dear!!!!!!!
