Christmas and a Photo Challenge

Good morning, more Christmas inspiration coming your way....another very CAS card...inspired by the colors in this week's Play Date Cafe Challenge.  I started with a completely different idea in my head for these stamps, but when I got started this is what came out!  I rarely mask stamps, but masked these to layer the Christmas trees.  I embossed them and then added the twine and sentiment.  Quick and easy...Happy that my Christmas cards are filling up and I'm not going into mass production of one card.  No one will know what to expect this year!
Now...how many of you follow Becky Higgin's blog? Have to say, I love her inspiration.  She has so many great posts that really make you think about how you're capturing your memories and challenging us to use our camera in different ways.  Her most recent challenge was to take a photo looking down.  Now, I'm late for the challenge, but I thought I'd post two pictures.

The first is looking down from our steps....these are Marcel's little sandals.  I have to say I love the little brown Stride Rite shoes.  I think I'll probably have one more year of little brown sandals in my house and then he'll want "cool" sandals.  Of course, wherever Marcel has been, a Lego guy is never far behind.
The second picture is Marcel playing with his Legos.  We're forever searching for very specific pieces of Lego guys.  The legs can't be "too wiggly", the arms have to be positioned just so..and you better have good eyes to fit all the tiny pieces together!  He especially loves the Star Wars Legos.  When you help him, his response is, "Thank you My Padowan".
And just so you know the photo is real...check out the dirty sock in the upper right hand corner!

Very elegant and classy - just enough of the chosen colours - and I love that bow.

Wonderful job with our color story, Lynn! I want to say 'beautiful CAS design' however I think it would be redundant since the 4 before me said the same thing! Well, then it must be true! Thanks for playing along with us at the Play Date Cafe!

Thanks for playing at the cafe with us :) and sharing the pics from home - fab!!! Here in the UK we call lego 'lego' and I often wonder how it comes to be plural in the states!
I love your CAS card, such a fabulous design, and that twine has such a holiday feel to it :)

I love this quick and easy Christmas card! The red sentiment and matching twine is awesome. Wow, that is a lot of pieces of Lego! It's hilarious that Marcel says, "Thank you, my Padowan." LOL
