A business friend of mine lost his wife this week to early on-set Alzheimer's. She was in her early 50s. An absolutely horrible disease. Although I never met Doug's wife, I remember when he emailed us (I was on his non-profit company's board) to tell us Teri-Ann had been diagnosed. I sat in my hotel room in Seattle trying to read on the Internet what early on-set Alzheimer's was. I had no idea that there was a form of Alzheimer's that is genetic and is very aggressive for younger people. It has been just over three years since Teri-Ann had been diagnosed. My thoughts and prayers have been with Dough and his family for many months and will continue. May Teri-Ann rest in peace.
Below is a simple masculine sympathy card for Doug. Thanks to Mercy for the sketch inspiration.
Ingredients: SU DSP; PaperTrey Ink Mega Mixed Messages and Wedding Stamps
