Pat's cousin welcomed a new little boy into the family last week. He was almost two months early but is breathing on his own. We're so happy to have sweet little Landry in the family. Hopefully it won't be too long before we meet him in person. They live in Virginia so I think it will be a little while. So I played along with Fusion Card Challenge to make his card. Loved the fun colors of all the chairs in the inspiration photo. Looking forward to picking out a sweet little outfit to send along with this card!

Fusion: Just Sayin'
Just sayin'....this Fusion Challenge stumped me good when I first stared at it. Yes...I was going to go with the bird inspiration. And then...I flipped to the sketch. Aren't these fun little speech bubbles cute? And I tried to use the colors in the inspiration photo too. This card will definitely go to my husband...he's definitely still dreamy in my book!

Oh la la. Nothing like a rainbow challenge. And we have one for you over at Fusion. Or how about those adorable little wellies? So much to be inspired by either the sketch and/or the inspiration. I went with the rainbow theme and played along using some water color paper and my Zig markers (yes this non-coloring girl still loves them).

Fusion: On Your Graduation
It's time for another Fusion Challenge. Don't you love that clean, crisp inspiration photo? I stared and stared and almost went down my normal floral path, but then decided to go with the sketch. A perfect card for my niece who will graduate from the University of Cincinnati in just a couple of months.

Fusion: It’s Your Time to Soar
Aren't those fun little bookmarks just adorable? I always love the inspiration with our Fusion Challenges. For my card, I stuck with the primary color palette to make a fun card that could be used for a variety of occasions: birthday, graduation, etc. To finish off the card, I added three small strips of solid paper. Love how the balloons look like they are floating off the card.

Fusion: Irish Blessing
In just two short weeks, St. Patrick's Day will be here and the Fusion challenge is just in time to inspire you to play along with a St. Patrick's Day card. I took the double challenge and played along with both the inspiration and the sketch (loosely). Sticking with my favorite Verve St. Patrick's Day set for this card. Love how the clovers look like they are falling on the card creating a bit of movement.

Fusion: Thanks
Oh la la. I am in love with the Fusion inspiration photo! Navy and pink together are awesome. I also love the patterns...think it is pretty easy to see how I was inspired. Lots of fun dies were used to create this card.
What do you think? Do you love the inspiration as much as I do? Would love to have you play along with us.
If you are interested, here's a link to the Frantic Stamper die I used on the background of this card.

Fusion: Summer Time
We're back for another Fusion Challenge...and Valentine's Day is fast approaching. At first I was going to go with water color hearts, but then you can see I went a very different direction playing along with sketch and these fun little cups. Love the polka dots on them so I had fun stacking them up in spring colors.
So how are you inspired? Hearts, stars, coffee cups?! Can't wait to see your cards for this challenge.

Fusion: An Irish Blessing
I will admit that this week's Fusion inspiration stumped me for a bit. I wanted to go with a neutral color palette from the wreath, but ended up going along with the sketch. I apologize of the slightly blurry photo. I love creating cards with the Irish Blessing. Like my card for the last challenge, this is one of eight of this card that I made for card sets for my mum. I love working ahead on challenges so making the card sets for her for Christmas for her friends was the perfect opportunity.
I'd love to see how you are inspired. Here's a quick reminder on the procedures!

Fusion: On Your Special Day
After a nice break for the holidays, we're back at Fusion with our 2nd Anniversary Challenge. We've all invited a guest designer to play along with us and I've invited my dear friend, Maureen, from Buttons and Bling to be my guest.
My card was inspired by the colors and the fabulous flowers. I love WPlus9s Fresh Cut Floral set. It has been a while since I had it out so I used it to play along with this challenge. I made about eight of these cards to go in card sets for my mum's girlfriends.
I chose Maureen as my guest designer as she is one my dearest blogging friends and we were lucky enough to meet in person a few years ago. I adore her style; she can layer and add a touch of bling to her cards and the end result is always amazing. A little about Moe: She's a St. Patrick's Day baby with a passion for card marking. Wife to Tony, Mom to Jake and Grandmoe to Ashlynn. A grade one teacher and recent Master's graduate from Gonzaga. An all around incredible person!

Cheers to the New Year
Happy Monday my friends. Hard to believe that we are only a few days away from Christmas! My cousin and his family are coming in on Wednesday night and we're really looking forward to their arrival from England. Nothing like spending Christmas with your family.
We have been busy over here getting ready for Christmas and wrapping up the school semester. All of the boys had their Christmas concerts over the last couple of weeks and Ryan/Jonathon had their first semester files last week. So we have been busy, but are looking forward to relaxing over the next couple of weeks.
Yesterday, I snuck in some crafting time and starting working on challenges for 2016 (Yeah me!). I also played along with this fabulous new die from Jeanne. Love that the Fusion team does a secret santa exchange. I think the detail on this die is absolutely stunning! I inked up the background with distress inks and finished it off with the sentiment. I'll be making several of these for next year's Christmas cards.

Fusion: Joy to the World
It's time for our last challenge of the year at Fusion. As soon as I saw this inspiration photo, I knew that I had to incorporate the birds. I also loved the soft woodgrain feel of the wall in the photo. I decided to go with a bit more of a rustic feel for my card and have to say I'm thrilled with this card. Don't you love when a card turns out how you imagine it in your head?
I hope you are inspired to come play along with us!

Fusion: Merry Christmas
We're back! It's time for another challenge at Fusion. I love that we are playing along with non-traditional Christmas colors for this challenge. I choose to be inspired by those colors and played along using Verve Stamps. I love the tone on tone of the ornaments and mimicked the colors with the snowflakes and pearl centers.
I hope you are inspired to come play along with us!

Fusion: Poppies!
Happy, happy Thursday! It's time for another Fusion challenge. I loved seeing all the gorgeous fall inspiration from our last challenge. This time I played along with the picture inspiration. I used my Verve set for this card stamping a variety of sizes of poppies and coloring them with my Zig markers. I rarely make a card without a sentiment on the front, but decided to put the sentiment inside. This card went to a co-worker who is moving to Columbus. I'd love to have you play along with us!

It's time for another challenge at Fusion! I absolutely love this inspiration photo and the sketch...so I loosely did a bit of double Fusion.
