For Unto Us a Child is Born

My cousin, Sandie, is a guest designer over at Watercooler Wednesdays, and their challenge is to make a card for Holidays Around the World. I'm trying hard to get ahead on my Christmas cards for this year and so I decided to have a play along at the challenge. And to use those Copics I just bought too. Couldn't bring myself to make more than one of these cards but am pleased with how it turned out!

Happy creating friends!  Going ahead and posting this right after I posted another card as the challenge is up soon!

This is beautiful, Lynn! I love that the verse is the star of the card and your pretty Copic borders outline it perfectly. Reminds me of old-fashioned embroidery, which I love! Hugs, Darnell

Thank you for sharing your lovely Christmas card with us at Watercooler Wednesday, Lynn. It it NEVER too early to start making your holiday cards!!! Your colors are so soft and lovely... did you use a stencil, or color stamps with the Copics? Again, thanks for sharing! -Donna

I have this set and it needs some love, Lynn. I love the black frame around the sentiment panel and your Copic coloring looks wonderful.

Hi Lynn, I'm so glad your cousin inspired you to participate in our challenge. And what a gorgeous card you've created for the challenge, too! I love the simplicity and those lovely clear colours for your borders, top and bottom. A perfect start for your next Christmas collection of cards. Thanks so much for joining our Watercooler Wednesday Challenge this Week.
