Time Out: Happy Birthday

We're back with another challenge at Time Out!  We are so lucky to have Michele, from I Card Everyone, with us for this challenge.  She is a genuine sweetheart whom I am so lucky to have met in person.  Her gorgeous CAS style never disappoints and she gave us a beautiful card to to CASE.  I love how crisp and clean the die cut thanks looks against her beautiful stamping.  I think you can see how I was inspired.  I inked up the bottom of my card and then stamped the flowers on in Versamark and embossed them before adding a bit more ink. I layered my die cut with black behind it.  You can see I'm not great at making the sentiment line up super well but am pleased with the end result!

I hope that you can come play along with us.  We're sponsored by Happy Little Stampers
And the winner will receive a $15 gift certificate to their store.

What a cool technique...it really catches the eye and makes you look twice at the sentiment :) ox

This is gorgeous, Lynn. I can see those versamark flowers on my screen, and I'll bet they are even more visible in person. Brilliant idea to use one black layer on your die cut sentiment. I'm going to try that trick next time.
