Best Wishes (and around our house!)

Happy Friday friends...it's been a busy week on the blog due to my crafty time on Saturday morning. This card is for my mother-in-law. She loves all things blue so I try to make her cards with lots of blue. I'm out of town, but Pat will be going out with the boys and her to celebrate her day!

In other news, we have big news around our house. We've sold our house and bought a new home.  We'll be moving in early November, so we've been extremely busy getting our house ready and packing. The other really exciting news is that my mum will be moving in with us.  We're just about ready to put her house up for sale. So...after this weekend with my crafty weekend away there probably won't be much crafting going on until we get settled into the new home and can set up a new craft room. There are other rooms that will be a higher priority so other than pre-scheduled design team posts, I'm thinking there won't be too much new happening around here.  This is the reason I've been a bit quieter commenting too.  I'm sure you all understand. I regularly peak at all your gorgeous creations!

Your card today is so pretty! Love the soft blues and green on those beautiful flowers!

That is a bunch of new things and a lot of work to let all that happen! Good luck with packing-moving-and unpacking! Think it is so great that your mom is welcome at your new house, but it will be strange for you and her for starters... Hugs, Gerrina

You should pack yourself some "kits" so when you have a moment of insanity you can assemble your crafty projects. Good luck, love the blue flowers.

Lynn, you are such an inspiration to us all and this move just adds to how special you are. I hope to someday really soon live much closer to my daughter and her family in Iowa. It is so nice to see a family to pull together to make things work. I will be looking forward to your updates and remember to take things one step at a time. Love you and your family.

Gorgeous card with blue front in center in the form of these gorgeous flowers! She will love it!! A HUGE congrats on your new home!!! Transition always sucks, but once you are all settled in it is well worth it. Your mom must be thrilled to be able to live with you - blessings on you guys for being there for her. May the move go smoothly and the dust settle quickly ((hugs))

Moving is always such an adventure, and setting up in a new home takes a lot of time. I am sad to hear you won't be posting much for a while, but having good living space is important. The card you created is very elegant as well as thoughtful, and it is the perfect look for someone who loves the color blue.

It sounds like you had a lot of exciting news to share with us. Everyone understands that you need to focus on settling into your new home, and we do hope the move into your new home was a smooth one. The fact that you were able to celebrate the holidays in your new home sounds exciting, especially with your mother moving in with you.
