Get Well Soon

Happy Monday my friends....I'm back to work after a four day weekend.  The boys had their spring break last week and I took a couple of days off for us all to hang out together.  Nice to have time home and not be in a rush to go anywhere.

My half marathon training is in full swing. I had a 10 mile run on Saturday and am pleased that I only walked for a few seconds at the top of one of the hill.  One more long run next weekend - 12 miles - and then we start to taper off in preparation for the run on May 1st. Too bad I haven't lost any weight while I've been training!

But enough chitter chatter!  I was happy to be crafting yesterday morning and played along with CAS(E) this Sketch.  This card just came together...always love when that happens!

wow 10 miles, which I could be there to do this with you. Great take on the sketch. I see you style changing more to colouring recently. Off to meet Mum and Tina in town today. They are up for the day xx

Beautiful card, Lynn! I love your softer and sweet take on the sketch. I definitely could drive a half marathon, hahaha! Good for you, and I know how much work it really is to even attempt it. Glad you had a bit of time off with your family too. Bev

I can barely walk 10 miles let alone run it, Lynn, so I am impressed. I'm also impressed with your card. I'm way behind in commenting but I went to the CTS gallery to get some inspiration and your lovely card stood out to me.
