These little die cut frogs have been sitting on my desk for months...and the perfect opportunity came along to put them to use (Thank you Michele...I made a few of these cards!). I am always in need of boy cards and I thought the CAS(e) this Sketch was perfect for those adorable little frogs. I added my standard go to layout of a strip of black paper and a bit of patterned paper. Love that the pattern paper coordinates with the colors of the frogs.
I'm curious...what is your favorite go to layout for cards? I obviously followed the sketch, but always seem to be added a strip of paper to the edge. Would love you to link me to your favorite layout.

This just makes me smile, love the little frogs!!
Oh, I love this! Those little frogs make me smile! Great sentiment too!
Fun card. Love them with that sentiment. Who makes the frog dies?
LOVE this card! So fun and great for guys or gals! I am wondering where you got both the frog dies and the sentiment. I will check back later if you have time to answer - thanks!!
Those froggies are adorable - I think I first saw them on Michele's blog and fell in love with them! I don't know if I have a go-to layout... I guess for my really CAS cards I do a lot of image and sentiment in the lower right corner kind of layouts.
A perfect boy card! I am just getting back into cardmaking but I think mine is arranging the design in the lowerish right corner of a card.
Look who's come out to play!!! I knew you'd have fun with these guys, Lynn! Darling! Layout? Without a sketch, or an inspiration, I'm like a frog without a log!

Are these froggies too sweet or what?! I love that they match the paper too! I have a go to sketch for a month or so at a time and then it changes. I love it when I can add a doily, sequins, and/or twine…still a girly carmaker :) ox
OMG!!! This is so adorable! love those froggies, and the color choice too. It makes me smile, Lynn :)
This is beyond adorable!! Great card that brought a smile to my face :)
Love this adorable card, Lynn! Those frogs are soooo cute and love the colors! I add a strip along the side a lot too - it's just a classic design that works so often. My other go-to design would be placing the image(s)in the upper left corner and stamping the sentiment toward the bottom right.
Adorable and I really like your go to layout. I keep meaning to give it a go, it is the strip of black that appeals to me. My go to layout am sure you know and today's card is it

I was hoping you might get some more links as it always good to get ideas from others. Will check back later. Might use your lay out for a TO DT card Imhave been thinking on but not got too far, if o.k with you?
I love that paper strip and the fact the frogs match is is the cherry on top, Lynn. My layouts are all over the place so I'm no help in that direction.
Dude so cute!! What a great design for a 'boy' card. I love your signature design. I used to used my stitched rectangles constantly for my go to design but lately I have been putting my images and sentiments in the bottom right hand corner.
Great boy card. Those frogs are just perfect for little fellas, and for this sketch. Nice matchy-matchy paper too; love that when it happens! Layout....hmmmm....I've been using a centered, one third down from top for a focal point, and the rest can land where it lands. But then again, I tend to be all over the place... Anyhoo, I do love these hoppers! Bev
Thanks so much for answering my questions!!
Lynn, this is so cute! I love the little frogs, the coordinating paper...everything.
Those frogs make me smile every time I see them, and today is no exception. I love how they appear to be hopping all over your card.
Brilliant, Lynn ... love these leaping frogs, especially in their fab colours that are perfect with the DP ... so cute! My go to layout ... don't think I have a specific one, but do use the rule of thirds a lot! Hugs, Anita :)
Real fun these frogs! Never seen them but they look super on this boy card! Hugs, Gerrina
Oh, this is so fun! I love those frogs! Fabulous take on the sketch, Lynn!
So awesome! I love those frogs. :-)
Super cute, Lynn! Love those darling frogs, and your strip of patterned paper is perfection!
I love everything about this - such fun frogs!
