I hope you all had a wonderful Halloween weekend. The little guys had a lot of fun trick or treating and the older guys had friends over and had a bonfire on our patio. It was truly a gorgeous fall evening.
I still can't believe we're in November already so I'm trying to get a move on for Christmas cards. This simple little CAS number is inspired by this week's MUSE Christmas Visions card. I liked the soft background in blue and put yellow on my card instead and then finished it off with the sweet little bird and sentiment. I think you can see how I was inspired!
And here's my funny story for the day. Marcel was asking what is the most expensive thing we've ever bought. I answered our house. Pat answered by engagement ring and Collin comes in the room and says, "Mom's craft room." We laughed so hard...and then Pat said, "and we're still paying for it!" Thought you'd all get a laugh out of that!

Gorgeous card and funny boys, Lynn! :-)
hahahaha..I laugh at your boys and it feels familiar to me too:) Also, you have created a great card, and I´m so happy and proud that you found inspiration from my guest design card. Thank you so much for joining us this week at MCV. - Birgit
I'm sure all of our husbands would agree! How funny is that sweet little Collin!?!! Love your simple and very pretty Christmas card. Your take on the MCV is spot on! The yellow is rich, and draws you right in; this is a darn good card and it looks like it would be easy enough to replicate for your stash. Awesome!! Bev
LOL...love the story.
Awesome cards Lynn...can't believe it's November either!
LOL...cute story!
Love your sweet card!
Funny boys! Your card is so pretty with the yellow backlight grounding the dove - just perfect!
LOVE how you were inspired by the Muse card, Lynn! And I had a similar thought today - I've always wanted a grand piano and thought they were too expensive. But if you count up everything I've spent on crafts........ oh dear!
Collin could be right, Lynn ... and it is a never-ending thing! Darling inspired card!
=]
LOL, Pat's sense of humour always cracks me up! I still remember his comment about the Archivers GC and not being able to spend it all :) Sounds like Collin has a good one too :) This sweet little dove is adorable! ox
Adorable card and our dab lay out! Collin is a sweetie xx
Sweet Christmas cards. I need to get cracking to make a few myself.

Amazing how kids have great perception! Ha ha!
Love this card ... and I bought the stamp set last year because of a card you made. Now I have 2 to case. Thanks.
Such a sweet card Lynn! I love the little glow around the Dove! Such a cute story! I'd have to say my husband would probably agree to the same about my craft room too!
What a sweet card, Lynn, I love the soft glow of yellow behind the bird and sentiment! That is WAY funny about the craft room, I have to show this to my hubby cause I know he'll get a big chuckle out of it lol!
Fabulous card--love that warm yellow glow. And, your story is funny...out of the mouth of babes...
It is terrible that we have a hobby where so many beautiful things are sold for... I am glad that twice a three times a year I set a stop to buying things and just try tro use all the things a already have... But the amonth of stamps keeps growing...
Your card is beautiful; think that the yellow works even better as the blue from the musedard! Hugs, Gerrina

Lynn, wonderful take on Birgit's card with the yellow circle.
Speaking as someone who has gotten three packages in the past week, I'd say Collin may well be right. Love the card, Lynn, and I can definitely see how you were inspired.
