Time Out: You are Appreciated

We are back at Time Out with a fabulous inspired by words challenge:
Autumn...the year's last, loveliest smile' (William Cullum Bryant)

I love fall colors...and distress inks are the perfect inks to add to your cards to have gorgeous fall colors. For today's card, I pulled out a few different colors and inked up a piece of scrap card stock.  I then die cut the maple leaves from Frantic Stamper to have a variety of colors/gradient looks across the leaves. To finish off my card and add a little texture I attached a touch of twine. The small leaves were super easy to adhere with mini glue dots.

Above shows a close up of the fabulous details on these dies. They cut perfectly!

Be sure to pop on over to Time Out to play along with us!  Our guest designer this week is Glenda.  I'm sure you'll absolutely love her gorgeous inspiration for us!

I so often design a card that is guided by what I want to say to the recipient ... yours speaks volumes, Lynn ... and starts with 'gorgeous.'

What a stunning autumn card and what a good idea to distress the card stock before die cutting.

The way you've colored and arranged those leaves is perfect, Lynn. I feel like they just floated down from the tree.
