Happy Birthday

Happy Monday my friends. My awesome friend, Michele, is the MUSE over at MUSE this week and is encouraging us all to get out our embossing folders and play along with her.  I admit that my embossing folders are often neglected so it was the perfect time to pull out a very old Stampin' Up embossing plate. I finished off the card by die cutting one of my favorite PaperSmooches die cuts three times: once in green and twice in black. I love how it adds a touch more dimension to the card. This card will be put in the stash for September birthdays.  I have a few that I'll need to have ready to mail!   Can you tell how easily I was inspired by Michele's card below?

Very cool! I was inspired by Michele's card this week, too, but my brain wouldn't come up with a card for me to join in! I love your take on Michele's gorgeous card, Lynn!

I had my eye on this challenge all week but didn't get around to playing. This is the perfect Take, still CAS but the bright green and EF really add interest x

Crisp, clean and deliciously texture-y, Lynn ... the black adds such pop to that yummy green! Hugs, Anita :)
