Deepest Sympathy

Hello, popping in quickly with a sympathy card for no particular challenge.  I saw someone (ETA:  it was Leigh who inspired me to make this card!) make a card very similar to this with a gold base. I apologize that I can't remember where but I loved the end result.  A co-worker of mine lost her husband suddenly to a heart attack and I was in need of a card for her. I thought the combination of pastels and gold would be soothing to her. Tragic to lose your spouse in their early 50s.

Today would have been my dad's 77th birthday. It's so hard to believe that he has been gone for over 10 years now.  Thankfully he is still in my heart and with me every day.  I certainly miss him tons.

Oh, what a lovely card, Lynn! I'm sure your coworker will appreciate it. It certainly is tragic when someone dies so young. :-(

Oh Lynn, I well know how you feel about your Dad... and cannot think what it would be like to lose my spouse. Leigh Penner made the card you're thinking of... both gorgeous!

Gorgeous tree! Sure to touch the recipient's heart. My dad has been gone 8 years now and sometimes it feels like just yesterday he was here enjoying his grandkids. Hugs to you!!
