Appreciation is the Memory of the Heart

What's that?  A post in the middle of the day!  I know for my normal readers this is a bit out of the ordinary, but I'm off this week and was able to sneak in some crafty time.  That makes this girl's heart happy.

I decided to play along with the MUSE challenge with Kristie's fabulous inspiration card. I pulled out one of my all time favorite PTI sets and some distress inks for the masking. I didn't really intend to make a rainbow with my inking but I did. Sara's gorgeous cards here also inspired me.  Aren't they amazing?

Hope that you are all having a beautiful and relaxing Easter week.

OK, I know that the sky is awesome, but it's the black 'ground' strip that somehow takes this to the next level for me! Thanks so much for joining us at Muse this week, Lynn!

Love this card Lynn! How flattering:) I agree that the black strip at the bottom adds the right touch to the card. I've gotta pin this so I remember to use that tree and sentiment next time. So glad you got in extra crafty time!
