Happy Birthday Elizabeth!

Man oh man was last week a crazy busy week. Thankfully I got a chance to take a breath over the weekend as the boys didn't have too much going on...that said this week is going to be crazy busy too with lots of week night activities and an overnight show choir trip for the weekend. I'm going to have to remind myself to go to bed early!

On Saturday night, I made five cards and all five are already in the mail. This one is for my gorgeous niece, Elizabeth's, 20th birthday.  She loves the color green so I knew I had to include that color in the card. I used the technique that Laura Bassen showed in her video, but since I didn't have reinkers I put three different colors on a craft mat and sprayed a little water before inking my stamps.  Love the end result!  I'm entering this card over at CASology.

In other news around our house, Pat is remodeling our basement...we had a pretty big bar in our basement and we never use it...so he took it our and is rebuilding the back corner.  Here's a picture of him in action on Saturday night.  I'll be sure to post after pictures when he's finished!

Honestly, I don't have any buttons... love the little extra pops... and I'm a fan of the string look. Fabulous card, mailing birthday cards doesn't seem to be at the top of my to do list. But-- the Instagram class last night was fun-- I actually know what I'm doing :)
