Jingle All the Way

Happy Friday...I was happy to have time in my craft room yesterday before we headed over a neighbor's to watch football. I've been seeing all the gorgeous cards around blog land using the border stamping technique from Melissa's Make It Monday video.  I decided to play along too. I'm going to keep on keeping on with making Christmas cards all year so that I don't run into a crunch in November/December next year.  The snowflakes are from Verve and the sentiment and edger die are both from PTI.

Susan has been talking about using our hoard.  This certainly doesn't qualify as a CAS; one layer card, but it did make me think about using some more of my ribbon.  I haven't been using much lately. Love the finished touch this ribbon gives t the card.  Added the jingle bells....and would definitely need to use readers if I was going to thread a lot of these!

Happy New Year and happy creating!

Use our stash? Humm.... good challenge. I think I need to revisit my papers, b/c let's be real, am I really going to use the patterned paper I've had for 10 years? Probably not. Will I ever find it in my current stash? And of couse you should use more ribbon!!! hello. Lovely card, now I'm thinking I want that edger die.

Lol...I've already got tri-focals and might have to take a cue from Geri G., and add a pair of readers over them for such fine work! Gorgeous card. Love the snowflake background against that sweet white sentiment panel. And the ribbon is the perfect finishing touch too (along with those teeny-tiny, itsy-bitsy jingle bells)! Soooo sweet. Bev

Oh gosh!!! This is just the prettiest card!! I love the snowflake border! I'm going to have to try this! I'm going to keep right on making my Christmas cards each week too. I was kind of sad about FF :(

That is a cool background and the ribbon does finish it off perfectly. I am hoping to do the same with XMas cards. NOnni is on a new OLC Xmas DT that starts soon and hoping to join that and if FF starts again, not sure of it is bit will try to enter that xx

The snowflakes are perfect for a border stamped card, Lynn. The ribbon matches perfectly and the bells emphasize the sentiment. An all round terrific card!
