Happy Friday my friends. We're back with another Festive Friday challenge. This week I am loving all the woodgrain inspration in the photo. I did opt to go with a lighter wood grain image. The neutral woodgrain really makes the green and red pop off the page. At my crafting get away last week, I was able to use Laurie Willison's PTI dies. I think these will make their way into my cart sooner rather than later. To finish off the card, I added a touch of twine.
I hope you're inspired to come play with us at Festive Friday!

Love the woodgrain; looks like a real piece of wood! The red and green pops beautifully! Enjoy the weekend, Gerrina
Love that the focus is on the message in this fun, vibrant card!
Love how the sentiment pops off the card :) I have those wet paint dies on my wish list :)
At first I thought this was balsa! Awesome design, love the wet paint die cuts, can't wait to try mine!
You said it all in your description, Lynn. The woodgrain makes the red and green pop. And I also that it was real wood.
Love the texture of me the card you have used to make the sentiment and the pale woodgrain does makes the red pop more x
What a cute card Lynn! I love the woodgrain texture also and those dies are fabulous! I just got them and can't wait to play with them!
I love the paper -looks like vaneer (I wonder if that's an English word...) to me and the twine is perfect! Very cute!
You should pull out your PTI sled, do you have that set? I spy the new wet paint dies....
