As I type up this post, the little guys have just gone to bed. Here's the conversations happening around here tonight that make me smile:
Having their Own Rooms:
- Marcel: "When Ryan goes to college will I get my own bedroom? Will I get his room?"
- Collin: "Jonathon's the next oldest so he gets first choice."
Foot Wars:
- Lots of chatter about what is fair when they've been having foot wars. See below :)
- Sword fights were happening too, but I didn't get any pictures that weren't blurry!
Pickle Ball:
- Have you ever heard of this? I never heard of it but my mum played today with two of her friends and I ordered her pickle balls from Amazon tonight.
- Google it...it looks like a combination of ping bong and tennis
- Love that she's playing this and having a great time. The boys thought that pickle ball was a hilarious name and were laughing their heads off at dinner.

I love this card, Lynn! That skyline image is awesome! And you "conversations around the house" always give me a good giggle. :D
So fun to write these things down, I need to add more to my family blog so I'll remember… Lovely card.
Great card for a male! And a fun-to-read-post! Hugs, Gerrina
Oh, my gosh - foot wars!!! My boys never did that but I sure did with my 5 siblings! What a fun memory! Always love when you share family stuff, Lynn. I'll have to check out pickle ball - sounds fun.
Love your card! You;re right - perfect for a guy! ♥
Sounds like your house is full of fun Lynn! So cute!! Foot wars are fun!! Your card is wonderful! I love that little cityscape!
Love the masculine neutral colours and the skyline...it's perfect for a promotion! Your boys are too funny! Yes, I've heard of pickle ball! A retired worker plays it now and they've even had tournaments here. I giggle at the name too! So glad mum has found a fun new sport! ox
I love that skyline on the grey background..will have to remember that one. The boys are so funny and I hope you got a good sleep x
We've had a pickle ball court for 20 yrs - like playing tennis but with wiffle balls. They say there are 100s of courts in FL as seniors love the game~
What stamp set did you use for your cityscape? Thanks.
Giggle, your boys are the best (-:
Hope you have had a good night sleep.
I love the skiline, perfect card for you collegue!
Awesome male congrats card ... how thoughtful of you to give one for a promotion! And foot wars!! I totally need to teach my boys this lost pass-time. Or, wait, maybe I shouldn't!! I need to think on that this afternoon : )
Lynn fantastic card! I am trying to figure if it is embossing, embossing paste, paper?? Hmm... Your house always sounds so fun, love when you share the boy-isms with us! Things are pretty quiet around here these days, but boy do I miss those fun times when the kids were small!
I'm with Tracey, what did you do to that skyline? It's amazing! I'm going to have to google pickle ball now. Possible PE idea! ;)
Adore the card, Lynn! Fabulous sky line and the touch of DP across the top is great :)
What a great masculine card...is that embossing paste? Looks marvelous.
Love that you share the chatter...those boys are so funny.
yay for your Mum!
My Momma recently picked up yoga...I love that she's active...I'm guessing when I get to my Momma's age, my form of being active is going to be blogging..LOL..I say that because non-bloggers have no idea what all goes into it, kwim?
Fabulous skyline card. What a great idea for a masculine card. Filing that one away for me for later--no, actually I'll just pin it. Your boys crack me up.
I love this card, Lynn!
Aren't boys fun?
We have some new tennis courts and the rules there state that you can play pickle ball there, too, but I didn't know what that was... I'll have to google it.
Fabulous card and what a fun read ! I like the foot wars too :)
Adore your card and the convos around your house. I love that you documented them. I had totally forgotten about pickle ball, but I have played it. We played all sorts of random games in middle school PE...I loved it.
I just love this masculine card...what skyline stamp did you use? You made me laugh with the boys games/comments. jeandonny2000 at hotmail dot com
A cityscape . . . be still my heart!! I have this stencil, and I love it. You've inspired me to get mine out and use it again! I cracked up laughing (as I often do at the amazing stories you share about your kids and family) when you mentioned pickle ball. It's BIG around these parts . . . but I live in a retirement community! LOL Miss you, girl!
