My Own Personal 10 Minute Craft Dash

Happy Saturday my friends.  We're up and at it early this morning.  Ryan and Jonathon had their baseball umpiring meeting every Saturday (we leave the house at 6:30!).  So...I've been up and going since Pat is camping with Indian Guides with Collin and Marcel.  I did the drop off and came back for a quick run.  As I was running, the Fusion Sketch Challenge was running through my head.  My PaperSmooches dies were already cut out and stamped so this was my own personal 10 minute craft dash!  The card came together very quickly!  Have to love when that happens.  I need to pre-cut my dies and stamp them more often!

I leave you with this picture of my little cutey, Marcel.  We had his end of the year picnic for first grade yesterday.  He's such a happy little man.  His teacher put together a slide show of the class.  Amazing to see how much they change in just nine months..baby teeth, to no teeth, to adult teeth for this little guy.  Even more amazing is to see how is writing journal has transformed.  Love him.

And now for my next ten minute dash to the baseball fields for pick up....hope you have a fabulous Saturday!

Oh, I so remember those changes with the video of my kindergartners ever so long ago. BJ and I were just doing the same with pics of our cuties. Ezekiel is loosing all that little boy look, and Adina no longer has those adorable, rosy, chubby cheeks. I don't think I like it one bit!

And that card... So in love with that polka dot panel, and the bright colors set off so beautifully from the neutrals. Have a blessed weekend, my friend!

Lynn! OMG, you've nailed this - I always love kraft with bright colours, but when I make a card with a kraft base, I'm not happy. But here, you've shown me exactly how I can use kraft and still feel like me. Or you. lol! Love this (and love that happy little boy!)

yeh, I love it when a card comes together like that. When I used to run, then is when I had my best ideas! I love how the bright flowers top the more subtle paper, it makes for a really complimentary mix.
What adorable boys you have, can't wait to see them!!

Wow! Your rushing about dropping off and collecting children, making cards and getting up at stupid o'clock is making me feel tired just reading about it! I hope you get a nice early night!

This card is stunning and no one would ever guess it came together so quickly! A bit of a result with the pre-cut images - I might try that! :)

That is such a sweet card (and sweet boy) and the fact that you could make it (the card, not the boy lol) in 10 minutes is a plus.

I love your interpretation of the sketch!

I take first day/last day of school photos each year and and write about how much my boys have changed. The would be a nice entry for Project Life!!!

How did I miss this?! I love what you've done. It helps when you put things together in your head...although, mine don't necessarily turned out how they are envisioned:)

Isn't it fun and scary how the kids grow.up.so.fast?
