Before I get to my card today, I must offer my prayers for those that were injured in the bombings in Boston. I've run two half marathons and several marathon relays. The thrill of running a marathon is incredible and the sheer volume of attendees running and supporting their friends and families running is an amazing experience. May God bless those that lost their lives, were injured or were witnesses to such a senseless act. I pray for healing for all those impacted.
We're back for day two of the CAS-ual Fridays new release. Today's set I have to say, I'm absolutely thrilled about! Michelle knows that I call my mum, mum (not mom!). If your mum is from Scotland, you certainly can't call her mum...even if we do live in the US. So..the extra mom and mum sentiments in the sent are perfect for me!
For my first card, I let the stamps speak for themselves with a clean, cheery design. I love stamping off the flowers to add a touch of ombre feel.
For my second card, I let my new Crate Paper do the talking while highlighting the sentiment.
Be sure to hop on over to the CAS-ual Fridays blog to catch the other design team inspiration along with the chance to win!

Love how you stamped the flowers on that fist card. Looks awesome!
Beautiful cards Lynn! My daughter always had a hard time finding an card that didn't say "mom" so now she just raids my craft room to make one. As another mum from Scotland I appreciate this sentiment! =)
Beautiful cards, Lynn! I especially love the first one.
Love these cards Lynn. I know you are loving that big Mum sentiment. The simple and fresh design of your first card is so eye-catching.
Great cards. Especially loving that first one - the colours, the flowers and of course the "mum" :)
oh, WOWZERS! Look at these! I just love both of them! The first one with the sentiment on the half and half and how you stamped the flowers and the second one for that gorgeous paepr! Is that the Maggie Holmes collection? I also love it when companies add in "Mum." It's one little stamp and easy to add to make so many happy :) Now if they would only add the extra "u" somehow for us British spellers :) I'm taking one last look at these cards before I go! ox
Lynn both of your cards are fabulous. I really love the first one, beautiful colours and the way you stamped on to the banner perfectly--wow!
Oh, my! These are both so beautiful! I love how you stamped the flowers on the first one - the raised portion looks amazing! And what pretty paper on your second! Gorgeous cards, Lynn!
So pretty, Lynn! Gosh, I really love that fabulous, yellow bow, and I'm so glad you got your "Mum" stamp ;)! Big hugs!
So pretty Lynn, LOVE the first card!!
how great this set has 'Mum' in it and I do love the fonts they have used. Both these cards are beautiful Lynn x
These are stunning! I've got to say that I love EVERYTHING about that first card, right down to the ribbon you've used. So clean and crisp.
So feminine and pretty!!
Awesome to have the mum/mom option! I love your ombre flowers and that gorgeous ribbon!
Yep, I agree... The two spellings of Mum is handy to cater for in stamping :0)
Love how you stamped those flowers on your first card, perfect placement as always!
