Happy, happy Saturday. I hope you are all staying warm where you are. It is absolutely freezing here. My weekend has started off right (with the exception of Pat having the flu and me crossing my fingers that no one else gets it!)....but back to reason is started off right - I snuck in lots of crafting time last night. My mum asked for two card sets. I didn't really have anything in my card stash so I made up the sets last night and I'll share the four different cards with you this week!
First up is my card for this week's Muse Challenge. Suzanne is this week's Muse and as you can see from her card below she is crazy talented! I took inspiration from the flowers and the gorgeous color palette. The scalloped card I used is a set of cards I've had for a really long time from Archiver's. Since the edge is not flat I used twine to prop it up for the photo! I love the end result...so bright and happy!
Such a bright & happy card, Lynn! Love the scalloped edges as well as your clever use of a prop ;D
ReplyDeleteChilly here too this weekend, but with lots of sunshine so I'm not complaining!
Hope Pat gets well soon!
Hugs!

I agree Lynn, your card is bright and happy. It has a fresh linen look to it. Very light crisp, clean and feminine. Don't forget to add your beautiful card to the InLinkz over at Muse!
ReplyDeleteHope the flu is on its way out of your house and not there to stay for a while. I know it was an unwelcome guest at my house for the last couple of weeks.
Love your bright and happy card Lynn!! The scallops add just the right touch.
ReplyDeleteChilly up north here too but with the sun shining that helps. :)
Hope Pat is better real soon and nobody else gets it! Hugs!
Great take on the inspiration - love the bold colours and the scalloped edges!
ReplyDeleteOOOoooo, LOVE the shaped front with the square back! I've never seen that before, how unique! :)
