Wishing You Much Happiness

Hello there...are you ready for spring to arrive yet?  I keep thinking if I make more spring like cards it will come faster.  Not sure that logic is working!  It has been very cold and then it got a bit warmer, but the cold is coming back quickly.  But...enough about the weather.  I'm here with my card for this week's Retro Sketch.  I had fun playing with some new My Mind's Eye paper and stamped the floral panel to match.  It's not my favorite card, but sometimes that happens.

I'm traveling this week for work so I'm looking forward to being home tonight.  The boys do make me smile when I call home. I never know which one is going to be chatty and which one will be a bit more quiet.  When I asked Marcel, his response was so sweet, "I had a GREAT DAY.  Daddy was so proud of me with my homework.  I started my sentences with capitals just like I'm supposed to do.  It is a GREAT DAY!"  Then he was on to tell me about their school assembly about Peaceful Buses.  Each bus met so he was there with Collin too.  In Marcel's words, "Jonathon's teacher from 2nd grade kept smiling at me.  I had really good things to say.  No yelling on the bus.  We want to make sure the bus driver can pay attention."  He's so out going and makes me smile.   And...I can't wait to get home and tuck him in tonight.  Our night time routine still involves him making sure that I promise to give him a kiss and butterfly kiss in the morning before I leave for work.  Such a sweet boy.

Sweet boys. :}
I admire crafters that share and admit work that is not their favorite. I guess because I feel the need to do that as well.
I like you card~~
