Before I get to my card today, I must say how my heart is so very heavy for the families who lost children and loved one in yesterday's tragedy in Connecticut. It is simply so hard to understand how the lives of innocent children and adults could be taken. May God bless the families of those were lost and all who are in need of His prayers.
On a much lighter note, it is time for another Just Us Girls Challenges. Lisa is hooking us up with a gorgeous color palette this week. If you are tired of all of the reds and greens for Christmas, this week's Just Us Girls challenge will be right up your alley! The color inspiration is white, pink and green. Pink and green is one of my all time favorite color combos so I loved make this card! I added a few more elements than normal to my CAS style, but have to say that I am really happy with the end result.

Love this card, Lynn!! Great design and a fabulous touch with the leaves. One of my favorite colour combos too :) Have a great weekend!
Love the softness of these colors together.
Love this stamping on the stripes! So pretty!
Just beautiful, Lynn. I think we are all trying to wrap our heads around these awful events. Much love to you and yours, today.
Another beautiful card.
Terribly sad day yesterday. Went home and hugged my boys-rather squished them I think. Your card is beautiful, especially with the snowflake as the focal point.
I can't fathom the sadness of all the families - horrendous.
On a much happier note - this card is my all time favorite - beautiful.
I can't begin to imagine what the family and community are going through right now...it makes me tear up every time I think of it....
Your card is simply gorgeous....love the soft colors.
I love the softer pinks and greens - gorgeous design, Lynn!
This is just beautiful. Love the punch and the ribbon tied through on the fishtail. A well balanced card!
oh, Lynn! This is total eye candy! love the banners, pearls, and all the sweet little details. Is it too early to call next year's Christmas card? :) My heart is also saddened by what happened. We were called into the staff room at lunch and told about it. I watched a little of it on t.v. last night just to get some details than had to turn it off. So so sad.
such subtle use of the colours, and I like the little extras. We heard this news on waking up this morning, my prayers are with the families x
Hi Lynn! What a lovely card! I really like your layering of the banners and that beautiful snowflake! The bow adds so much!
So pretty! I just love all those scattered pearls!
Just HAD to pop in and tell you I REALLY Love this card! It is so elegant with your banners! LOVE the colors, too! Super FABULOSO!
Lynn this is so beautiful, I love those colours together.
Lynn this is beautiful! I love the colors and how they're not the traditionals. I can't believe what happened, either. Its just so sad :(
I share the pain you feel in your heart, Lynn. :(
Your card is stunning and the color combo is wonderful!
We all have heavy hearts. It was a sad, sad day. Sigh. But your card is so pretty! I really love your smattering of pearls ;).
I almost didn't think this was your card at first. But you worked those few extra elements like a pro! I love this! I going to stare at it for a while longer now, and try to learn a thing or two about CAS layering. I never feel like I get it right, but this is perfection.
