Thanksgiving Recap {and a couple cards to share}

Hi there, I'm a bit delayed in sharing Thanksgiving photos.  It was a very busy, but wonderful weekend together.  We hosted Thanksgiving for the Mangan side of the family (13 adults and 14 children).   A house full, but we were super blessed with very warm weather and spent most of the day outside.   The kids loved being outside...with a variety of activities...a football game and finger nail polishing...even the boys had their fingers painted from some persistent cousins!

And then it was dinner time...two tables for the kids (I  missed taking a picture of the little ones table...maybe I was worried about getting my plate)...and one big table for the adults.  Of course, a crazy toast from my husband who may or may not have really enjoyed the beer our brother-in-law brought...and a lot of laughs.
 And then back to lots of great play time with all the cousins...
Jakey got a little hot towards the end of the night!

And of course, more cards to share!  First up is a CAS rustic card using some of the new sets from The Craft's Meow's release last month...inspired by the current Retro Sketch.

And the second one is a just for fun card for the women's leadership group I mentioned yesterday. I love the sentiment.

Looks like a fabulous day at Casa Mangan! And with that crowd I don't blame you for being worried about getting your plate! LOL!

Love those musical trees and the sentiment on the second card is one to remember.

Lynn you did have fabulous weather for Thansgiving--great shots! Both of your cards today are just fantastic. Those trees are so cool and rustic and your postmarks are so cool. That is one of my favourite quotes.

Love the trees... and postal themed cards are one of my weakness...funny, should dust off my stamps.

Ah, Lynn - you are so blessed! Thanks for sharing the photos! Reminds me of when the many cousins from my family were all younger - they've all grown now, with the youngest being 17, but it's still so special when we all get together! The games have changed a bit, with the exception of football - they still play that one! :)

LOVE both of your cards! Those musical trees are so beautiful!

The smiles in the pictures showcase the fun time everyone had :) How fun to have so many to gather together and cousins for the kids to play with :) Love the first card - the trees are fabulous with the snowflakes in the BG. Wonderful mix of stamps on the second.
