CAS-ual Fridays: Over the Edge

Today is a super, super exciting day at CAS-ual Fridays!  And if you've been paying attention, you know that there is a big HUGE announcement today related to CAS-ual Fridays "Little Sister"...wondering what the announcement is and wondering how you can find out?  Pop on over to the CAS-ual Fridays Challenge to find out the big news!
And...then you'll know who our sponsor is!  And...you'll know who helped with the creation of this gorgeous card...hmmm...are you curious yet?  Go click on over here to find out!

There is also even more excitement that Karen Baker is coming back to the CAS-ual Fridays Challenge team. If you haven't been to her blog before, hop on over...you'll be sure to be inspired!
Now...onto our challenge this week!  Our challenge is to create a card with an element going off the edge!
For my card, I created a plaid pattern on the bottom using one stamp, but four different ink colors!  I've admired this in other cards I've seen, but have never done it myself. The single stamp image is shown below.  If you look closely at my card above you can see how I stamped this stamp multiple times horizonally and vertically to create the plaid pattern.

To finish the card off, I added leaves a few brads and the sentiment. I hope you like it!

And now...don't forget to find out what all the excitement is about!  Come play with us  at CAS-ual Fridays and win FABULOUS prizes from this week's sponsor!

Holy cow, now that is some gorgeous stamping. Love how the inks mix in your plaid, and how they each stand out and didn't become muddy. Amazing! oh, and the leaves coming off the side too, brilliant!
