I Wait for the Lord...

Happy Thursday!  I was thinking I might sneak down into my craft room on July 4th, but we ended up going to our local parade, had lunch at Pat's parents and then came home and took a nap before heading to my brother's house for an evening July 4th celebration. So I am popping in to share a sympathy card I made last week for a family who lost their son in a freak hiking accident.  I thought this Psalm was very fitting for a sympathy card.  Thankfully this young man's family has a very strong faith.  Our prayers are certainly with them.

PS My cousin, Sandie, just let me know about this fabulous site.  So, I'm going to put my card into the current challenge there.  Thanks so much Sandie!

Gorgeous Lynn and that Psalm is beautiful.

I love the subtle colors you chose Lynn. Good to know that a sympathy card doesn't have to be black/gray.
Have a great day!

This reminds me of one of my favorite songs, and now, I'm sure I'll be singing it all day ;). At least it's a good one! And I LOVE those branches and blossoms! I'm sure it meant so much to the family.

I'm sure it was difficult making this card when you know the family...so, so sad. This verse is sure to give them comfort. The bling just takes this to the next step of elegance...gorgeous! Sunny day here again...I have some appointments...massage (medicinal) and pedicure! Woohoo!
