Peace Love Joy and Matt's Senior Pictures

Last year when I was making Christmas cards, I loved adding the little red gems to create a holly feel.  This card I tried to create the look of mistletoe.  The leaves are from Verves New Mercies set and then I added a touch of twine.  Hope you like it!

On Sunday, my dear, dear friend, Katie, and I went out with her oldest to take his senior pictures. I've known Matt since he was a toddler so I was beyond thrilled that she wanted me to take his pictures.  We went around downtown Loveland for almost two hours laughing our heads off snapping a variety of pictures of him.  He has grown up into such a nice man. My boys all look up to Matt.  He is bright, has a great head on his shoulders and has a wonderful future ahead of him.  Thanks Katie and Matt for asking me to be a part of this special time.

Here are a few of my favorites!  PS Purple is the color of the LSU Tigers were Matt will go to college next year...and orange is Loveland's color :)

LOVE how you've used those leaves, girl! I'm having trouble getting into the Christmas spirit, when it's 102 degrees outside. Ugh! And the photographs are fantastic!

Oh Lynn, these are wonderful photos, I bet he was so thrilled! :) Thanks for checking on us.... we are not in pre-evacuation yet, but the fire is moving our way. Colorado Springs is the town I grew up in, so sad! :( But my family are all ok, they all live on the other side of the highway from the fire. Hanging in there, trying to be ready if we need to leave, but other than that, we are all just fine! :) I am loving your Christmas cards, so pretty! I need to get a jump on those, too. Hope you are having a great week! :) -N
