On the last day of school, the eighth grade class had a graduation party at a local sand volleyball court. What a blast! Three hours worth of hanging out with friends (and attempting to make a pyramid...don't you just love their smiles!...Ryan is the fourth boy from the right on the bottom).
At the party, they all received Class of 2016 t-shirts. I have to admit that seeing that made my heart ache a bit. It's a strange feeling having a child entering high school and thinking it just four short years he'll be leaving for college. I look so forward to the amazing things he will accomplish, but it's hard to believe how the years pass so quickly. So here's to the Class of 2016...and a wonderful start to their high school years. Let's cherish every moment.
So in honor of this time of year...another graduation card. Remember this card from last week? Well, I really enjoyed layering the stamps so when I saw the Embellish Collage Challenge I thought I have do to it again and create a collage using stamps. I used all sets from the Craft's Meow again...added a few different ones. I love the sentiment on this. I'll be using this a lot!

LOVE the simplicity of this card! The colors are great and as always, your layering is amazing! :)
ah yes, I can sympathize with you since I have a class of 2013 {yipes} and 2015...where does the time go? seriously.
Okay, you rock the stamping here...and have totally inspired me!!!! My momma asked for a graduation card and I'm definitely using today's card as my inspiration:)
I really like that sentiment too, Lynn, and love your beautiful layering!
You're so right - we have to enjoy every moment - it all happens so fast. My youngest will be a senior next year. *big sigh*
This is another one of those amazing CAS stamped cards Lynn! I love the look! And the picture of the kiddos is so fun!
What a fantastic graduation card Lynn and what a great time it looks like the kids are having. My baby is just finishing grade 9 and my oldest is in grade 12 next year. The heart does ache.
Fabulous collage stamping!
Beautiful layered stamping once again, Lynn. I love how you tipped the hat like it's about to be thrown in the air in celebration. Congrats to Ryan!
Wow it's so interesting to learn about your education system over there, blogging is teaching me so much!!!

Terrific card! Love the mix of images and pastel colors! :)
Ugh! Oh, I can totally understand why your heart aches a little, Lynn! I know it'll be here way before I want it to be.
And your card is fabulous! LOVE all that stamping! This color palette is divine. I'll have mine up with Papercraft Star early tomorrow morning. Hugs!
Gorgeous stamping Lynn, I love how you have layered everything :)

Hahaha, cool pyramid pic!! And that card is just great, love how you layered the different images and colors, so modern!
You're right, Lynn - those 4 years go lightning fast! Mine graduates next year. Your card is just lovely!
Nothing makes time move faster than watching your children grow! Mine are not that age yet, but all too soon. Always love seeing what you create with these Craft's Meow stamps. Wonderful card, Lynn!
stunning design! love the subdued colors :)
This will go down as my new favorite card of yours. It embodies perfect composition, perfect color distribution and only you can layer stamps like this. Wow, congratulations on having a high schooler! Went to my husband's nephew's graduation this past weekend, I first met him when he was my youngest's age, and to see him walk down all tall and grown up....I admit I might have gotten a bit teary eyed!
what a fun way to celebrate the end of the year and into high school! Did they complete the pyramid? LOL Poor Ryan was on the bottom, although that may be the easiest position?! There you go mixing all those fabulous colours again with the most inspiring sentiment :) I agree, it's a keeper :)
Collage-a-palooza! Now why couldn't I manage a card that looked this good when I tried to mesh a bunch of stamps together? Love it!
another amazing grad card, the colors are perfect and the stamp layering too.
Your layered stamping is amazing!! This one is no exception! Love the collage stamping for the grad card! Happy weekend, Lynn!
This is so pretty, Lynn. I love the colors and the way you've layered your stamping. Just beautiful. Ann Y.
Fun to think that you did the collage as a one layer.
