Sending You Warm Thoughts

Happy Sunday. We're having a very lazy morning which I absolutely love.  I went for a run this morning (well actually more of a walk) and then went down to my craft room for a bit.   I haven't been down there since last Sunday and I was missing it!  Do you ever feel that way?

This card is going to a friend of mine who completely surprised me this weekend.  She mentioned on Facebook that it would have been her dad's birthday had he still been living.  It would have been my dad's birthday too so I posted a comment to her.  Later in the day when I got home she had stopped by and dropped off flowers for me.  It absolutely made my weekend.  So kind of her to think of me.  I'll be sending her this card as a thank you.  I'm so grateful for her.

This card is also being entered for this week's ColourQ Challenge...I really thought I would make flowers for this color combo...but when I got started, this is what the end result was!

How precious... nice to remember those who have passed in a positive light. My craft room is also feeling a bit neglected, but the mess and the goodies will just have to wait.

So sweet of your friend! It's amazing how much such a simple gesture can make a person happy. Must remember that more often...

I thought I was going to go the flower route too with these colours. Glad you rebelled along with me! ;)
