Road Trip!

Happy Friday!  After work today, I'll be heading north with my niece, Elizabeth, for a quick road trip.  We'll be going to see Ryan's show choir perform in a competition near Cleveland.  I'm looking forward to spending time with Elizabeth and of course, seeing Ryan perform.

Before I go, here is my take on this week's ColourQ Challenge.  I love the pop of rust on the background.  The butterfly brad is one I've had for ages, so I was happy to put it to use on this card!

I hope you have some fun weekend plans.  Check back tomorrow for my Just Us Girls project.

ah, road trips are fun!! Is it an over nighter? or just the day? Hoping for some pics of Ryan again :) That brad is fantastic!! I know how you must have felt when a) you discovered you had the brad again (was it the studio clean up? and b) when you found the perfect card :) Love the blue strip peeking out :) Hugs and safe travels.
