You're My Lucky Charm

Happy Friday everyone!  I'm looking forward to the weekend.  Pat and I are going to see Billy Elliot tomorrow night with Ryan and Jonathon. I'm really looking forward to a night out nestled in between running the boys to a variety of activities.
But enough about the weekend plans.  I received my Verve order yesterday and decided to use my new stamps to continue to play along with the techniques from the class.  Our most recent class was about using our stamps in different ways.  One of the cards had a great background stamped panel similar to the green panel below.  I kept this one ultra simple.

The next one showcases uses the stamps in a different way with the coordinating dies.  Hope you like them both!  I'm obviously still using the plain white cards too. Good thing you can't see the backs of them as I'm having problems with inky fingers!

You've never made a card that I haven't liked. The first one is gorgeous, the layout perfect! I have an inky finger problem too. Onyx black ink by Versafine is nice in that you can sometimes ERASE the smudges!

Happy Friday Lynn! You've made so many wonderful cards lately. WOW!! I so behind on commenting so I'll just tell you here that I love your style. You are a stamping (and blogging machine). Don't know how you do it all.

Hope you have a great weekend. Our first show choir competition is tonight in Illinois. Should be fun!

I know you have an Irish family so I know I won't be getting ALL of these...but I'm hoping!! We could do the 4 weeks to St. Patrick's Day!! LOL have a fun night and a great start to your weekend :)

I'm lovin' that you're sharing so much of what you're learning, Lynn! And your bits of burlap and twine add just the right amount of texture!
