I'm sure that this week's
CAS-ual Friday's Challenge was inspired by
Karen Baker! She is so talented as using mists in very cool ways! This card is fairly traditional but credit certainly goes to Karen for getting me started using mists! I used a Technique Tuesday stamp and the die cut hearts are from Verve. I added a couple gems to finish it off. This will most certainly be going to my hubby in a couple of months...

LOL, as soon as I saw the challenge I thought of Karen too! Great job with the misting Lynn, lovely CAS card :)
So very beautiful! I love the different shades you've achieved with your misting! You are so very talented too!
Love this, Lynn! I am a horribly bad "mister"! It never looks right, so now I just use mine on my seam binding to make crinkly ribbon! LOL! I love the little cardboard hearts you added around your sentiment, too! :)
I thought of Karen "Misting Queen" Baker when I saw this challenge too! :) You have rocked that pink mist and I love the crimped hearts - such awesome texture!
Wow! This looks so cool, Lynn! Just love the way it turned out! :)
aw, what a sweet card for Pat...I have Tony's anniversary card ready for July, but need a Christmas card pronto! I have found my mists, but may need to wait until spring to try them out again...although I could use your garbage can trick ;) I got some very happy Christmas mail yesterday from yours truly :) With the poinsettia!!! Love it! and the picture is just the sweetest :) It's up on the mantle :)
Such fabulous texture on this wonderful card, Lynn! I love the contrast of the bling and hearts!
Love every bit of this card, the misting, the cardboard hearts, and the fabulous sentiment!!
