As they saying goes, better late than never. I was so disappointed when I realized I missed my niece, Katie's birthday a couple of weeks ago. Fortunately, she didn't seem too worried about it, but I wanted to make sure we quickly got her a gift. I made up this bright cheery card using a PTI Sun Flower set that they gave to us for spending over $100 at Stamp-a-Faire. Of course, I (along with many others :) couldn't pass it up. It is so versatile...much more than a sunflower and I thought this would make a bright, cheery card for Katie's 7th birthday.
Here's Katie leading her cousins at a little sing a long at our house a few weeks ago! From left to right: Ella, Ally, Katie and Marcel (he was never far from the microphone...even if he didn't know the words).

Love the pink and yellow - such perfect little girl colours! And those rock and rolled flowers look fabulous. :)
Great pic - rock stars in the making! :)
LOVE the BRIGHT color combo and those flowers are AMAZING inthe two tones! LOVE the half label, too! Better late if you get a FAB card like this!
Beautiful colors you used. I love the music embossed background as well. Happy belated birthday to your niece. :)
Oh! love the multi-colored flowers!!Fab summer color combo!
This is so fun and girly! The sunflowers look fabulous with the rock and roll technique, and I LOVE the subtle music score background!
LOVE that rock and roll of the colours (and the cousins!! I always laugh when that song comes on now!) Do you remember when we thought you wouldn't have enough on your order for that set? You sure made that up in a hurry!! And then my MC was red flagged? Good times! Off to change our address :( I think I've been procrastinating because it's more emotional than I thought...but the new house is worth it! It all looks pink now with the insulation...I will take more pics for sure :) Hope it's still sunny and hot there! hugs :)
Ooh, super fun and bright card! I love the curvy shape of the cardbase you used for the sentiment!
Perfect colours for a girlie card, now you've made me want that manuscript IP too! I just love how it works for a background :)

Such a sweet card Lynn. Love the color combination and your treatment of the label!
What a SWEET and thoughtful card--(better late than never, right?) This card makes me happy! Thanks for sharing Katie's cute photo!!
What a beautiful card! I love how you cut the mat stack layer in half for the sentiment; gives it a whole other look. Also the placement and inking of the sunflowers is just about perfect. Lynn, you rock!
I am sure she LOVED this beautiful birthday card. I love the different colors on the flowers and the bright bow. :)
I bet she loved this! Gorgeous colors and I do love that flower!
