Hi there...we're back from our whirlwind trip to Pittsburgh to celebrate our niece's confirmation. The boys were thrilled to get to see the "Pittsburgh" Mangans. They also started their Spring Break on Friday. Ryan burned two CDs of music for the car ride and labeled them "Pittsburgh Spring Break." Pat and I had a giggle that one night away from home qualified as a spring break vacation! Here are a few pictures of Laura on her special day...
Laura with her very proud parents!
Laura with Pat's sister and Laura's Godmother, Molly. And one with Nana and PopPop!
It would have been great to get one of all the cousins (11 in all attended), but the mass was 2 hours long! We got there a half hour early so the children all sat for 2.5 hours...they did really well so we weren't going to try and get them all lined up for a photo shoot. It was a wonderful service despite the length1 I'll share some hilarious bowling and Wii Just Dance II pictures later in the week!
When we got back, I made a very quick anniversary card for a co-worker...quick and clean...love the bright colors. The layout was inspired by the Clean and Simple Sketch this week.
Ingredients: PTI Larger than Life Daily Design Sentiments: Stampin' Up Basic Black, Tempting Turquoise and Old Olive Ink

Your card is gorgeous! That bow is yummy and I really like that flower image.
I love the bright blue in your card too! Very pretty! You have such a lovely niece! Can't wait for the bowling and Wii photos! Have a great day, Lynn! :)
Your card is beautiful, Lynn! Glad to hear you had a great trip! Your niece looks lovely. Congrats to her on her confirmation! :)
For a quick card, it looks like lots of thought went into it! Marvelous bow and the flowers are delightful. Excellent color choices.
Beautiful! Nothing like a white space card with a pop of color!
Wow, gorgeous clean and simple anniversary card! I love the two colours against all that white and the stamping off is great. Laura is so sweet!! Sounds like you all had a wonderful time!
Love your CAS card Lynn, the blue and white are fabulous together!
I am in love with that bow! GORGEOUS card!
oh, that is the yummiest bow!! A perfect CAS card but I'm sure was the loveliest she received :) Wow, 2 hours is a long mass...was it because there were so many getting confirmed? Here in our diocese the kids have confirmation in grade 7 and first communion in grade 2. Glad your boys are so easy to please...love that they loved their little trip away :)
