A New Quarter

Today starts a new quarter at school and is the last week of football for Ryan and Jonathon.  I have to say, Pat and I are both feeling a little bit run down with all of the shuffling to and from activities.  We're looking forward to a fresh start and a few weeks before the next season of sports starts!  I found this interesting article on "White Space" on Susan's blog.  I thought it was a great perspective about creating white space in your life.   Felt like I created some this morning when I organized all of our bills and statements that we receive.  Spent a couple hours setting us up for more electronic copies. I hate filing everything so I felt pretty good about it when I was done.  Certainly had to be patient as I was on the phone getting logins set up that I couldn't get automatically on-line.  But, it created some white space for me and that definitely played to my Type A personality!!
Now onto a completely unrelated note...here is my card today is for this week's Play Date Cafe Challenge. I got to play with my new PTI stamps and lots and lots of pink bling.  I liked using very non-traditional Christmas colors for this card and inking the edges of the ornaments up just a bit.

Here's to a great week for everyone!

PS  I have a giveaway going on here if you're interested!

Wonderful holiday card! The colors are so fresh and the use of twine is divine!

Glad you liked the article and found it useful. It's an ongoing struggle to have white space in this era of busyness.
